Honestly, I have never gone to Japan. But I really want to use it as my setting, because my characters are Japanese high school students! So I'm saying it in advance: I'm sorry, I admit I won't be able to portray Chiba perfectly, but Rainfall is a chance for me to discover myself and the Japanese culture, even if not at firsthand (tama ba English? Siya, basta naiintindihan. Haha)
I know it's going to be a real challenge to use an existential place as a setting, so let's explore it together! Hahaha. I'm wishing I could write this while in Chiba, really. This fiction's making me crave for a trip to Chiba Prefecture~ //screams giddily inside
I just feel like writing about a Japanese high school life too, writing the ideas and feelings of what a teenager thinks and feels commonly at his/her age. So I hope this is going to be light and cute and just happy. And finally, successful!
