"Children!"

Ms. Peregrine calls to them as they all run to meet her at the porch. "I must be going to Ms. Crow's and I expect you to be at your best behavior while I'm gone. Emma, Olive, Victor, and Enoch will be in charge, understand?"

"Yes, Ms. Peregrine." The children answer in sync as she smiles at them and prepares to leave.

"Ms. Crow's? Why would she go there of all places?" A dark haired boy with sunken eyes pitches in as soon as Ms. Peregrine was out of sight.

"It's not our business Enoch. Now let's go children, we must not slack off during Ms. P's absence." Emma answers him bluntly and pushes the children back in the door.

Blood and ruins are what meet the ymbryne as she changes back into her human form. The house was torn to pieces with salt water forming small puddles.

"What a devastating occurrence...", Ms. Peregrine walks around the wreckage seeing dead children strewn all across. She kneels down and closes the eyes of the children slowly, checking for any signs of life just in case.

She walks to the sandy shore and sees a redhead with bandages covering what seems to be her eyes. She puts her fingers near the girl's wrists and was shocked at what she felt.

She felt a pulse.

The ymbrne walks briskly to the house, the weight of the girl bringing her down but she persists and heads straight to the parlor.

"Enoch! Millard!"

The two boys burst in the room flustered with the other children tailing behind. "Lock the door behind you." She tells them as she lays the redhead down on a table.

"Enoch, Millard I need you to help me, no questions asked."

"What happened?" Millard asked quite shocked at the fact that there was a very dead looking girl on the table before them.

"I said no questions asked Millard, now go and fetch me the first-aid kit." She say as the transparent boy runs and grabs it outside the room. Once he returned I cleaned the wound and gave Enoch some needle and thread.

"Now Enoch I need you to stitch her up."

Enoch looks at the woman flabbergasted as he stared at the items on his hands. "Ms. P I never stitched up a human before!"

"Hurry before she dies Enoch."

After a brief moment of hesitation, the boy starts stitching up the girl's large wound and not a single drop of blood was seen which sparked the two boy's curiosity.

Moments after treating the girl, she was moved up to a spare room with the rest of the children looking quietly at the girl with the bandages.

The girl was quite peculiar indeed.
