Remember what I said about Enoch actually being nice? I regret what I said.

After the day where Enoch actually acted somewhat bearable, he had just decided to get back to his rude annoying self.

And I may be a lady but you have got to be kidding me. Would it kill for him to be kind for once?

A knock makes me jump from my bed breaking my day dreaming as I call out to the person.

"What do you want?"

"Is that really how you should answer someone Frances?" I was shocked when I hear the voice of Ms. Peregrine and immediately knew I was in trouble.

"My apologies Ms. Peregrine."

"Now Frances you have been cooped up here in all day already and I think some sunshine is due now." I hear her say as she also calls out to Emma to help me dress.

I sigh not wanting to leave the comforting mattress but Emma shakes me to get up and dress up.
She helps me up and makes me wear a long dress, its soft material brushing against my skin as I felt her pull my hair and secure it with a pin.

I thank her for helping me as she helps me walk to the hallway to meet the other children but I feel Emma letting go of my hand as I hear her shoes clanking away. I walked alone at the back, shouting at Emma to wait up before nearly tripping on a piece of wood if it weren't for someone.

"Be careful." The familiar Scottish accent makes me involuntarily smile as I wobble a bit.

Enoch.

He steadies me as I catch my breath, imagining flocks of birds destroying Emma in that moment. But who wouldn't think of slaying the woman who leaves you in an awkward situation, and for a boy no less.

I felt Enoch keep a tight grip on my waist as he drags me outside to the other children.

"Oooooohhhh!" I hear the children shout as we went outside and I just letting him drag me seeing as though I can't really see the road.

I frown as once again I cannot see the beauty of the grassy hills and the small houses littering the hills.

The cold air nipped on my skin as I shivered, wondering why was it so cold in the morning.

Suddenly I felt something heavy on my shoulders and as I reached to touch it and felt rough fabric.

"I don't need Ms. P to lecture me about letting you freeze to death now do I?" I hear Enoch say as I smile just a bit.

"Thank you."
