Kevins POV
"Hey do you guys think it would be ok if Freya came to our show tonight? like for free and stuff." I asked the guys.
"Its fine with me, I mean it is the 4th of July anyways." Manny shrugged.
"Yea I mean one person wont do any harm." Evan agreed.
"Yea plus I kinda owe her 10 bucks.." Alix trailed off.
"Why the heck do you owe her money?" I asked shocked.
"Well..its a long story, lets just say she won a bet." He explained scratching the back of his neck.
"Mhm.. well Im gonna tell her its cool if she comes tonight. Do you guys need help blowing up the beach balls?.. or can I go pick her up?" I asked.
"Nahh were good we just have a few more you can go and pick her up." Manny said.
"Ya sure? I can help if you want." I asked again just to make sure.
"Its fine really, go ahead." He assured.
"Alright then, I'll see you in a couple minutes." I said waving goodbye before heading out the door.
Before I drove off I texted Freya saying it was cool if she came. I reminded her to wear the Creepy Girl shirt and that I was on my way to her place.
Once I got there I knocked on the door. A few minutes later she popped open the door. "Hey!"
"Hey! you wore the shirt!" I said happily.
"Well yea of course, it only makes sense since I am going to one of you shows after all." she winked.
"True, true. Ya ready to go?" I asked.
She steeped back and gabbed a small white backpack. "I am now." she laughed.
~
"Hey!" I greeted the guys once we got to the venue. "Do you have a beach ball to spare?"
"Sure do, but only one so don't go popping it kay?" Evan said handing me a red, white, and blue beach ball.
We were playing a special fourth of July show in Ventura it had been a while since I saw some Ghosts so I couldn't wait to get this show started.
"Wanna toss this around?" I asked Freya.
"Um, shouldn't you be helping them?" She asked pointing to the guys who were unloading the bus.
"Nah, they said it was cool if I hung out with you before the show." I lied.
She sighed. "If you say so.."
I lead her to the back of the venue. We had a good hour and a half or so before sound check.
I sat on the opposite side of her and we tossed the ball back and fourth.
"So have you ever been to a concert before?" I asked her.
"Uh, yea actually." She said smiling. "I saw Paramore about a month before I met you but I haven't had the time for another one with studying and hanging out with you and stuff. I don't mind though Im not much of a concert person."
"You? You like Paramore?" I asked in shock.
"Yea, only the new stuff though..not so much the older stuff.." she explained.
"Figures." I laughed tossing the ball at her face then making a fart noise as it hit her.
"Hey! no more ball for you!" She said setting the ball down behind her.
I frowned and gave her puppy dog eyes.
"As cute and adorable as you look, that doesn't work on me." she smirked.
"Damn.." I said snapping my fingers.
I pulled out my phone from my pocket to a text from Evan.
An hour till sound check
I put the phone away and continued to chat with Freya.
"Hey look," she said pointing to the street. "People are starting to line up."
"Haha, yea." I said turning over to see about 30 people in line already.
"Wow, Im surprised I imagined only about 5 people showing up." She joked.
"Hey! Shut up!" I laughed. "just pass me the damn ball Ive got an Idea."
"Fine just don't throw it at me again." She warned tossing if to me.
I pulled out a gold colored sharpie out of my pocket and signed my name on it before passing it to her. "Put your name on it too." I smiled.
Freyas POV
"Huh? my name? why?" I asked. I wasn't famous and none of his fans probably new me so why did he need me to sign my name?
"Because your technically my girlfriend and your gonna be famous one day, trust me, so sign your name." He laughed.
"Ha, if you say so." I said signing my name and handing it back to him.
"Come on lets go give it to a random Ghost." He said getting up and giving me a hand. I gladly took it and walked over to the small line with him.
"Because you guys got here super dooper early Im going to close my eyes and bop each one of you on the head. Who ever I stop on will get this special beach ball with me and my lovely girlfriends signatures on it! whos gonna play?" I asked the small crowd. They all screamed in agreement.
"Ok! so line up in a straight line so I don't miss anyone." I said.
After they were in a line I closed my eyes and started bopping their heads lightly.
After going through the line once I turned around and stopped on a random Ghost then opened my eyes to see a small girl with red cheeks covering up her mouth in shock.
"Lucky lucky you!" I said patting her head before handing her the beach ball.
"Now Ive got to head back to the venue, be sure to say hi to me and Freya as well as the rest of the band at our merch tent. I'll see you guys soon!"
~
"You don't mind chilling here with Martha while we play do you?" Kevin asked me.
"No of course not!" I said happily.
Ghost Town would be playing in a few minutes and Martha and I had become pretty good friends over the past 30 minutes. At first I was a bit sketchy but shes really nice and we have a few things in common which was nice.
Moments later the bar owner hopped on stage. "Who's ready to see Ghost Town??" He spoke into mic.
The crowd cheered, and I thought I saw a few girls crying. I never thought they were this popular. The whole bar was packed.
Before I new It Evan and Manny were already on stage and started to play some music, then Alix came out and joined them.
The music stopped a few seconds later and Kevin came out singing and the crowd cheered uncontrollably.
After a few songs I have to admit they were pretty good. It wasn't my style of music but it was ok since there wasn't as much screaming in it as I had expected..or maybe I had just gotten used to hearing it..
After what seemed like only a minute later they were all leaving the stage and saying their goodbyes.
"Did you like it?" I heard Kevin ask me.
"Actually yea I did, I was impressed but do you mind if I step out for a second? It stinks like alcohol and sweat."
He laughed. "Yea sure, I'll go with you so they know you're with me." He said smiling.
Ahhh two updates in one day i know i know but i got this idea and yea xD i hope its ok im not going to lie i kind of rushed it but oh well! i love you guys and thanks so much for reading<3
