The next morning Mom and Dad arrived home. I was making breakfast.

"Hello, honey," My Mom sung. It startled me a bit.

"Hi," I said, Washing some grapes for a fruit salad. My Dad came in as well.

"What are you making?" Mom asked, intreggued.

"Fruit salad...so how was-where ever you were?" I asked, not looking up.

"We were visiting work friends in the bahamas," Dad asnwered. I threw the grapes in a bowl. the freaking bahamas? They didn't even think to inform me?

"Oh." I answered flatly.

"So what have you been doing all weekend? No parties right?" Mom asked. I threw some strawberries in. Surprised at her second question.

"No parties. And I just chilled. Lindsay came over yesterday," I told them.

"And how is she?" Mom asked. I swear I couldn't take it anymore.

"Why don't you worry about your own daughter?" I dropped the orange i was slicing and started to the garage for my car.

"Honey do we need to talk?" She asked.

"Just let her go," I heard my Dad mumble. I hoped in my car and slammed the door. I pulled out of the driveway and rode to the starbucks parking lot. I dialled Ricky's numbers quickly.

"Ricky, I need you," I was starting to cry.

"Why, what's wrong?" He asked almost in a whisper.

"It's my parents again. Can you meet me at Starbucks?" I asked, hoping he would come and hug me and entagle me in his love. He could make me feel happy anyday, no matter what was going on.

"I can't my parents came home and found out about the party...i'm so sorry." He said quietly again. The tears fell.

"Okay,"

"Alright Iove you though...hang in there baby. But I got to go before my parents find out i'm talking to you!" He hung up. I buried my face into the steering wheel of my car. Nothing was going right. I sighed and looked up at the sky. About to rain.

"What now? I can't just lay here...someone will see me..." I said to myself. I started my car and pulled out of the lot. I didn't know where I was going, just somewhere far from here.
