I wake up from the rays of sunlight coming from the window. I looked down at Dahvie noticing he was shivering. I gave him some more of m blankets. I grabbed some water, and berries and started to munch on them. I looked at Dahvie and he looked comfy. I left my food on the table and laid down next to him. I started tracing the outline of his face with my finger. His face was flinching from the contact. I started rubbing his cheek with my thumb. I kissed his forehead and his eyes opened.
"Good morning Jayy." he said then kissed me. I kissed back smiling.
"Good morning Dahvie. How did you sleep?" I said back to him.
"I slept like a baby." he answered back. I smiled at him. I grabbed some berries and water, giving to him. He smiled and thanked me. I smiled and kissed him.
"Come on. Let's get exploring." I grabbed the bag with water and berries slinging it over my back. I looked at Dahvie and thought it's a good thing his ankle isn't hurting anymore. We stepped out and down the ladder, going a different way today. I grabbed Dahvie's hand along he way.
While we were walking, I started pondering on the idea of trying to make a fire. It would be good to do that. But first, we need to find a good cave or something.
"I can't wait til we get off this island. I can't wait to see the fans and our friends again." Dahvie said all smiley. The thought just made me smile too.
"Yeah. I can't wait either. At least we'll know what to do if this happens to us again." I said back to him. I wrapped my arm around him. We walked for an amount of time pushing leaves, branches, and sticks out of the way leaving an open trail way for when we come back through.
"I wonder how much longer we'll be on this island." I wondered out loud.
"I don't know but, I have a feeling that we're going to be saved soon." Dahvie replied.
"I hope we will be. This island is getting boring pretty fast." I replied back. We continued walking for a few more minutes until we came across a hole in a mountain, looking as if only one person could fit in the smallish entrance. I pulled out my map and wrote down where the hole was. I would go in there but, I don't have anything to light it up in there. I stood there trying to remember how to make fire in the wild. I remembered we need to have a thick stick, another long stick, some flat bark, and something like a piece of string to hold it together.
I put the map back in the bag and told Dahvie what to get. We walked around to gather the materials we needed. We found all of the items within half an hour
"Should we go back to the plan and try making the fire?" Dahvie asked me. Looking at me curiously. I nodded.
"Yeah. It would be best to try it there first. Just in case things go bad." I replied. We started walking the way we came from, hand in hand. When we got back, we went up into the plane.
"Let's have some food first. We are going to need our energy." I went and grabbed some berries, and opened coconuts for us. The coconut juice is actually pretty good. It's nice and relaxing. We finished up the amount of food I pulled out.
"Let's start working on that fire now." I told Dahvie. He nodded and we sat up going down the plane ladder. I fixed everything up and started working on creating the fire. It took a few tries over a half hours time, but I eventually got it.
"We made fore!" Dahvie yelled throwing his fists in the air, making birds from trees fly away. I giggled at his cuteness, and he blushed in return. I went over and kissed him on his plump lips. He smiled and so did I.
"Let's go back to the cave with this." I said. I grabbed a stick putting the flames on it. I told Dahvie to stay here while I go check out the cave. I told him to stay and write in his journal. He denied, then compiled after a few minutes.
"Well now I can check out the cave." I said. I told Dahvie I'd be back in a bit. I started walking back towards the cave. After walking for a while, I was at my destination. It was starting to get dark, but not too bad. I looked around the outside, then I walked into the small crevasse. All I saw in it was various bugs. I lit them on fire watching them burn. I felt accomplished doing that. As soon as the inside looked clean, I decided to go back to the plane. Dahvie's probably worried about me. When I got back to him, I noticed he fell asleep holding his pen. I awed at the sight. I picked him up like a baby and laid him on the couch, tucking him in. I kissed his forehead and cheek. I went over to his previous spot to read his journal entry.
'Today Jayy and I found a cave. We also made fire from scratch. Jayy's back at the cave right now making it good for us to try to move into it tomorrow. I'm glad we are still alive but this is hard work. I'm glad he's here so I don't go crazy. I couldn't imagine myself out here with anyone else except Jayy. I hope he's okay. Counting down the days we're here. We are so going to survive.'
