"Get out." Dan directed Sean without hesitation, pointing to the door.

"Dan-"

"Look, why should we trust him?" Dan hissed.

"Hey!" Sean protested indignantly.

"Why would he betray us anyway? He's given us no reason to suspect him of anything!" Phil continued, ignoring Sean.

"Our "fearless leader" didn't us give any reason to suspect him either, yet why did he leave us to die?!" Dan snapped, his chocolate brown eyes shining with hurt.

The atmosphere was thick with tension between the Brits, Sean able to practically taste it as he nervously glanced between them.

"Dan, if you don't trust him, then trust me. Please." Phil pleaded softly, his sapphire blue eyes boring into Dan's.

Dan held his gaze before closing his eyes and letting out a long sigh of exasperation.

"I better not regret this." Dan growled as he looked at Sean.

"Feel free to stay here tonight, then you leave. Got it?" Dan huffed as he stormed off to a freezer that had a black curtain duct taped over the clear door, letting it slam shut behind him with a bang.

"Don't mind him, he doesn't like strangers and has trust issues." Phil apologized.

"It's okay, I'd be suspicious too if a stranger just showed up out of the blue and wanted a place to stay." Sean admitted.

"Oh I forgot to ask, what's your name?" Phil inquired politely as he walked over to one of the knocked over shelves nearby and retrieved a bottle of water.

"It's okay. I'm Sean from the PMA gang." Sean answered as Phil tossed him the bottled drink.

He caught it with one hand and greedily gulped it down in a couple of swigs.

"I swear the name sounds familiar." Phil mumbled under his breath as he searched for food that Sean could have.

"Thanks for letting me stay the night by the way, it really means a lot to me." Sean told Phil as the Brit offered him a bag of trail mix.

"No problem, I just wanna survive like you." Phil shrugged.

The words reminded Sean of the last place he had stayed at only hours earlier, how Bryan had told him the same thing before he got their leader killed.

"You should get rest anyway, I'm assuming you haven't slept before finding us." Phil advised as he gestured to the used to be freezer Dan had disappeared into.

Sean tentatively walked to the closed freezer door and opened it to find Dan curled up in a navy blue sleeping bag, a red sleeping bag lying in the opposite corner of the makeshift bedroom.

"It took forever to get the fans out so we wouldn't freeze." Phil remarked as he offered an emerald green sleeping bag to Sean.

"I'd imagine so." Sean remarked with a nod of appreciation as he took the sleeping bag and unrolled it next to the red sleeping bag that he assumed was Phil's.

"Need anything else?" Phil asked with a yawn as he stretched his arms over his head.

"I'm okay, thanks." Sean replied before snuggling into the thermal sleeping bag, eager to get some rest.

Sean woke up at the faint sound and groggily sat up, looking around him in the process.

He had no idea what had made the sound or where it could've came from, yet he couldn't help but feel on edge.

Should he investigate alone?
