"Nate, just listen to me man." Sean spoke up, stepping forward towards the dark haired male with his hands held up in a sign of peace.

"Back up!" Nate barked as he pressed the gun against Signe's head, her body stiffening as tears ran freely down her face.

"Killing other people won't bring Cristina back, the only thing you're doing is ruining other people's lives." Sean continued calmly as he froze mid-step.

"I don't care, I don't care about anything anymore!" Nate snapped furiously, his hands shaking as he gripped the gun tight enough to turn his knuckles white.

"Ya know, I used to be a singer before this. Cristina and I used to make songs together before all of this." Nate remarked with a cold chuckle, his expression bitter as he gestured around him.

"Just let them go Nate, they haven't done anything." Sean replied soothingly.

"You're right, but he has!" Nate snarled darkly as he glared in Mark's direction, his gun unmoving from his target.

"Then kill me." Mark taunted, standing up straighter as he stared his former friend in the eye without a hint of fear.

"You got it boss." Nate laughed maniacally as he aimed his gun at Mark, the wounded male closing his eyes in acceptance as he braced for death.

BANG

Nate's body crumpled to the ground with blood pooling from a gunshot in his head, staining the floor red.

Ethan had gotten a hold of his gun while Nate was distracted, shooting him once he realized that Sean's plan of negotiation was pointless.

Amy was still sobbing as Mark knelt down by her, his arms wrapping around her in a hug as he comfortingly ran his hands through her hair while Tyler started to bandage her knee.

"Thank god you're okay." Sean sighed in relief as Signe ran into his open arms, nearly bowling him over in the process.

"Thank god he's not." Robin muttered as he stared at Nate's body with no remorse.

"Now what do we do from here?" Phil interjected as he tore his gaze away from the corpse.

"Since your base is gone as well as Sean's, I figured you guys could stay here with us. I'll have Ethan and Tyler set up rooms for you guys and there's plenty of room." Mark offered.

"Oh yeah, thanks for that by the way." Dan added, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"I-alright yeah, I know I'm a douche, but I'm a douche that's on your side." Mark countered.

"Thanks, we'd love to stay." Sean cut in, nodding in appreciation.

"Perfect! Tyler and Ethan, can you guys set up a bed for Signe in Amy's old room and give the others beds in your guys' room?" Mark asked his friends.

The pair nodded before leaving to complete their tasks, both seeming eager to have new roommates.

"Now there's just one more issue we have to address," Mark sighed wearily as he looked at Sean.

"Who's leader?"

"I think I know how to pick that." PJ spoke up, surprising Sean since he had been quiet until then.

"Felix, Mark, and Sean should lead." PJ suggested, earning a skeptic expression from Sean as he glanced over at the Swede.

"I guess that could work." Mark mused thoughtfully.

"My first act of leader then is to change the gang name." Felix declared.

"Okay, what's the name then?" Sean replied, rolling his eyes at the excited Swede.

"We should be called the Brotherhood, that would be bad ass." Felix decided with a grin.

"Hey, we're still here you Swedish asshole!" Signe shouted indignantly.

"Hey, I was only kidding!" Felix yelled back with a laugh.

"Then what's your actual idea?" Mark prompted.

"Förenad, it means united in Swedish. I figured it seemed fitting since we're, ya know, united." Felix shrugged.

"United...I like it." Sean smirked.

"Agreed." Mark nodded, seeming surprised that Felix actually had a good idea.

From there, even though Nate was crazy, Sean insisted they gave him a proper burial so he could hopefully find peace with Cristina, the Irishman still guilty since he couldn't save him.

After the short service that only the gang attended, they worked to make an alliance with the Frederichi gang so they could trade supplies while Mark slowly healed from his injuries, Sean acting as diplomat to speak to them.

Soon after, the United gang started cleaning up the city to make safe havens for people, hoping it would help somewhat.

Even though the effort seemed futile, they all knew one thing from their separate experiences.

Broken things can always be fixed.

Even broken people.
