Today is my first day working in the intelligence unit. I have heard a lot of things about the unit some good and some bad. I like making decisions about people when I meet them and have worked with them. I got ready for the day and headed out of my apartment.

I only lived 10 minutes away from the district which is pretty handy. I arrived at the district and walked in. I walked up to the desk to talk to the desk sergeant.
"Hi My name is Sophia Martini I am the new Detective joining the Intelligence Unit" I said
"Voight said something about you. My name is Sergeant Platt. Here forms you need to fill out you can bring them back down to me when you are done. Follow me" She said
I followed her upstairs and she knocked on an office door. I waited and then followed her ignore all the looks I can get a little shy.
"Welcome to Intelligence Detective Martini. Here is your gun and badge" Voight said handing me the gun and badge I smile at him.
"Please just call me Sophia. I am happy to be here " I said
" This is Commander Crowley, Commander this is Detective Sophia Martini" Voight said as I shook the Commanders hand
"It's great to finally meet you Detective Commander McGarrett talks highly of you" She said
"Steve is way to kind" I said
"Why don't I go introduce you to the rest of the team. " Voight said
"Sure " I said
We walked out of the office.
"Okay everyone this is the New Detective Sophia Martini. This is Detective Jay Halstead, Detective Alvin Olinsky, Detective Antonio Dawson, Officer Kim Burgess, Officer Adam Ruzek and Officer Kevin Atwater. Make her feel welcomed okay. This is your desk you are going to be partner up with Halstead. " Voight said
I sat down at my desk and smiled at everyone.
"Where did you work before here" Adam asked
"I worked for a special task force in Hawaii " I said
"Were you close with your team" Kim asked
"We are ohana which means family" I said
"Awesome you should head to Molly's tonight so we can welcome you properly " Kevin said
"Molly's " I asked Jay looking at him he smile
"It's a bar owned by a some firefighters Antonio's Sister owns a part of it. It's place firefighters, cops and doctors and nurses go after work" Jay said
After a while everyone left bar Jay and I.
"Hey look just so you know if you every need to talk I am all ears. We are partners okay." Jay said
"Sure the same goes for you. I was really nervous about today. But everyone has made me feel so welcomed especially you. Thank You" I said smiling at him
"No problem how about I text the others and say we are going to give Molly's a miss and we go back to my place and order in so we can get to know each other." Jay Said
"That's like a great Idea" I said
Jay texted Antonio and we left the District and head back to Jay place and got to know each other a lot and had chines. He dropped me back at my place. I went to bed after a great first but I couldn't Jay out of my Head.
