Why Nothing Personal Is All Time Low's Best Album

On a sunny day in Baltimore, July 7, 2009, Nothing Personal by All Time Low came out. I remember exactly what I was doing. Eating Froot Loops in front of the TV watching Dora the Explorer because I was 6 and didn't know. But fast forward 5 years later and I find it and HOLY MOLY GUACAMOLE I love it.

It combines heartbreak with I don't' give a fly fridge with I do care with I am a horrible person and my mental health is bad. It is me in an album. These are the songs:

1. Weightless

2. Break Your Little  Heart

3. Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't)

4. Lost In Stereo

5. Stella

6. Sick Little Games

7. Hello, Brooklyn

8. Walls

9. Too Much

10. Keep The Change, You Filthy Animal

11. A Party Song (The Walk Of Shame)

12. Therapy

So....Here is how this goes. I am going to tell you what each song means to me and what I think it is about. If you want you can prove me wrong and tell me what you think it is in the comments.

1. Weightless: Seeing everyone else have fun and live life while you are worrying about everything. Making a change in how you see yourself and the world to feel like everyone else.

2. Break Your Little Heart: Being mad at a future ex and breaking their heart due to what they have done to you.

3. Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't)  wanting to be with someone but for some reason and feeling bad if you are with them or without them

4. Lost In Stereo: Utilizing music to help you escape your life and the problems in it at that time.

5. Stella: Getting wasted because someone broke up with you and finding someone else as you are getting wasted wanting them to be a rebound.

6. Sick Little Games: Not wanting the nonsense everyone else is taking in and wanting out.

7. Hello Brooklyn:  Traveling and just taking in every place you stop. Not caring if the world ends in the moment.

8. Walls: Someone breaking down walls that you built up around your heart so you two can have a great relationship

9. Too Much: Missing someone you've broke up with and wanting them back. But knowing you two are toxic for each other.

10. Keep The Change, You Filthy Animal:  Someone telling their best friend all the bad stuff you've done and not mentioning all the great stuff you do. Only telling them all the good stuff they do and not the bad stuff.

11. The Party Song (Walk Of Shame) going to a party and taking someone home. Letting loose and having fun

12. Therapy: Having mental issues and needing therapy. Being really depressed but showing a happy face so people won't notice. Not going to therapy because you can't open up.

So as you can see it was an amazing album and its 10 year anniversary is coming up in about a year and I am so excited to see what they are going to do with the re-release. If you haven't heard the whole album you really should. Its amazing and got me through a lot.
