Previously:
After finishing breakfast, Evelyn and her mom drove to Oak Hills High. aka HELL Evelyn thought and rolled her eyes. She stepped out of the car and waved goodbye to her mom.
"OHMIGOD EVIEEEE!" a high pitched voice squealed behind her.
A wide grin spread across Evelyn's face.
Now:
Evelyn turned and squealed back. Her best friend, Ashley, stood there holding her arms outward. They embraced and Evelyn laughed. "Oh my GOD! Look at you hottie!" Ashley said smacking her shoulder. "Uggh Ash!" Evelyn said blushing. They caught up a bit and compared schedules. "Second, lunch, fourth, and fifth." Evelyn concluded. "Why can't we have ALL of our classes together?" Ashley whined. Evelyn smiled and hugged her. "I'll see you later kay?" "Ugh! Okay, see you!" They waved goodbye to each other, just as the bell signaling the start of school. As she was walking inside, Evelyn's phone started going off. She rolled her eyes and turned it off. She grabbed her Math book and set off towards her classroom. Half way there she heard giggling, must be gossip. Evelyn decided too look in on it. "Hey girls!" Evelyn said smiling, "What's the latest?" One girl turned to her and laughed, "Some girl kept sending Nick nudes." The group giggled again. Another girl said, "We printed some out to hang around the school!" Evelyn rolled her eyes to herself. The girls laughed again. Evelyn laughed with them and continued on her way to Math class. She sat down in her usual back seat. It was her favorite because she could see outside through the big window. In front of the seat was Ethan Parks. Evelyn rolled her eyes. Great the pervert has to sit in front of ME. She set down her book and slid into her seat. She pulled out her phone again and looked through her notifications. 7,000 followers and more than three quarters of them haven't even met me. She sighed and turned her phone off, setting it on the desk. Ethan turned around, "What? Not enough likes on your recents?" He smirked and turned to face the front again. He's just jealous. Evelyn thought to herself. Jealous of what though? Her constant feeling of loneliness. Of uselessness? She shook her head. I need to stay positive. Evelyn looked up to the front of the room where Mrs. Bank started to go over their lesson. To her right the class door burst open and Evelyn smiled. Finally a ray of sunshine in this sucky day.
