Days went by and, before they knew it, it was time to board the Hogwarts express, on their way to Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Reina felt the familiar sensation of uneasiness throughout the entire train ride. Though the scenery was beautiful, no doubt, it was not enough to distract her from her own thoughts. The time was coming for her sorting ceremony to happen and, in a matter of moments, she was eleven again, fidgeting with her fingers in anticipation for one of the four statues to come to life. Nyx, her little cat, purred on her lap and Reina petted her gently.

"...and, as I said, we're prefects this year, which was to be expected, of course. I can't wait to see Potter's face once he learns about this,"  Draco was saying to his friends. Since she hadn't been sorted into a house yet, Reina stuck with him and they both settled in one of the compartments, occupied by Slytherin kids.

"I expect him to be looking over his shoulder for the rest of the year"  said Blaise Zabini, a dark skinned, handsome boy.

" Potter better watch it," said Crabbe; " That git is done for" Goyle added.

" Can you believe his nerve earlier; How dare he talk to me like that" Draco was spatting the words, clearly irritate by their previous encounter, during patrols, when he visited Potter's compartment.

" I'll help you get him, Draco" Pansy Parkinson, Draco's fellow prefect chimed in the conversation, her hand reaching for his, but Draco quickly pulled it away. This gesture irritated Reina for reasons that she couldn't understand. From the first moment she laid eyes on Parkinson she could tell, that, the two of them would not get along. Pansy would look at her with a hint of irritation every time her and Draco would talk to each other in a friendly way. On the other hand, Reina couldn't stand the way Pansy coming at Draco all the time, even though he didn't pay much attention to her.

Still, Reina hoped to be sorted into Slytherin. She didn't know whether she really wanted it to happen, but it would her family at ease, and, besides, Draco would be thrilled to have her as part of the team. During the train ride, they had briefly talked- well, mostly he did- about all the pranks they would be able to pull on unassuming students, now that he was a prefect, and about all the fun they would have during classes. He promised, in secret, to have Reina become a prefect next year and then, become head boy and head girl during their last year. He sounded very enthusiastic, like a child on Christmas day, opening his presents, and she would hate for things to not go his way.

"Reina. Hey, Reina are you even listening?" it was Pansy who spoke.

"What ? No sorry, I was distracted. What were you saying?" answered Reina, completely uninterested to what it was the girl was asking her.

"I said, are you worried about the sorting ceremony?" Pansy replied said and huffed.

"No, not really. I am rather looking forward to it,"  Reina lied through her teeth, not feeling comfortable sharing her true thoughts on the matter. Pansy looked at her in disbelief , but didn't say anything.

"She doesn't have anything to worry about Pansy. There's no way Reina isn't joining Slytherin," Draco stated confidently; " She has already decided as much."

"The fact that she DECIDED, doesn't really mean she IS going to join us," Pansy retorted, annoyed in Draco's confidence.

"I was under the impression the sorting hat took one's preference into account ," said Reina.

"That is the case,"  sneered Pansy, "if you are not worthy enough to join Slytherin, however, I don't think you will make it ."

" What's this, then?" Reina snapped at her.
