It was a particularly cold, summer morning. Reina was laying in her bed, staring at the wooden ceiling. It's been two months now she's  been away from home and she missed it terribly. She missed her friends, her  room and also her school.

As her fourth year at Ilvermorny school of witchcraft and wizardry came to an end , her mother got some news from their distant relatives in England.  Although she asked many times her mother never revealed what it was she learned that made her so upset or eager to return to a place she left 14 years ago.

So here they were now, Wiltshire, England. They were currently living with her mother's niece's family at their luxurious Manor. As she came to understand it, Reina and the lady of the house , Narcissa as well as her notorious sister, Bellatrix, were distant cousins. Not much of blood relatives and clearly there was a age gap between them , as she was several years younger than them.

Today actually, on the 5th of August, she turned 15 years old and it was safe to say  she didn't much enjoy the way she spent it so far. She wished her friends could be there to celebrate, but since this was impossible ,  the only other friendly person she met so far would have to suffice.

Draco Malfoy was the same age as Reina and he has been far more than just hospitable to her. Upon meeting he was simply polite, but as the days went by and they got to spend more time together, having each other as sole company, the two became fast friends. Draco was always composed when adults were present and Reina could tell that he was doing his very best to be treated as an equal.

There were numerous occasions where she attempted to do the same, but it wouldn't be long until a burst of enthusiasm or her lack of disciple would show. Her behavior was tolerated by the family and was brushed off as the aftermath of her being raised on the wrong side of the Atlantic. However, on every instance the two were alone together, Draco would lighten up and they would have a good laugh about the awkward looks and the uncomfortable smiles she would get.  With her, the boy would reveal a more carefree and mischievous side , as there was nothing to prove. The change in him would not deviate from normal behavior, except his shoulders would drop in a relaxed pose, he would joke about things  and smile, something that Reina would never see during a family meeting.

This was something that she would notice on her mother as well. Ever since they came here, her mother would not smile as much. She seemed stiff and composed, even the way she breathed seemed forced, as if she was afraid of something. Reina brushed it of as her not feeling at home yet and trying to put on a good face. She would often wonder though if this is what her mother was like before she left to find a new home in Massachusetts. It was making it slightly sad, as this was nothing like the lively and expressive woman she knew her to be. She would also spend significantly less time with her, as there was always some meeting she would have to attend.

Consequently, if it wasn't for Draco being there, she was positive that she would have lost her mind from boredom alone.  The two would talk for hours while strolling through the estate grounds. They would often escape to the nearby forest where they climb trees and and explore the area. On the instance that they stumbled upon some herb, seed or flower, Draco would be kind enough to let Reina explain their magical properties and the different uses in potions to her hearts content. Whether he was just being nice or he was actually interested in all these information Reina couldn't tell, all she knew is that she enjoyed that about him.

Through their many conversations Reina would inquire about Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry which she was to attend as a transfer this year. She has heard many things about Hogwarts, even while still back at home. The school was famous, though many would consider it infamous these days. However that  did not change the fact that it was considered to be the best wizarding school that ever existed. She was informed by Draco that she would have to be sorted into one of the four houses, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Gryffindor, in order to attend her classes, something that was a standard practice in Ilvermorny as well, although the names of the houses were different. At Ilvermorny they had Horned Serpent, Wampus, Pukwudgie and Thunderbird, which incidentally she used to be in. She remembered how puzzled he looked when she took it upon herself to explain how the sorting process was conducted, about the four statues and the significance of every house.
