A New Tomorrow

Everyone followed Lissana to the woods. What that Hansin dude didn't know is that he made a huge mistake about letting them fall underground.

"Now, do you smell her?" Lissana asked the three dragon slayers.

"Hmm... you're right! I can smell her scent." Wendy shouted.

"But very faint." Gajeel said.

"Exactly! So that means, Lucy is not dead. She's just sealed somewhere within the woods. Let's find her." Lissana ordered.

"But how did you know this, Lissana?" Elfman asked with a worried puzzled look.

Lissana gave her older brother a shrug and then an innocent smile. She isn't that bad after all.

Erza quickly runs throughout the woods, concentrating on finding Lucy. While running, she stopped when she saw ruins of a village. Just like Eclair's (Eclair is from the movie).

The scarlet haired young lady stumbles upon a broken lacrima near a humongous tree. She slowly takes the lacrima and then Lucy's image was shown.

Lucy had long hair, curling her body, and was wearing a long white dress. After, she opened her eyes, revealing her brown eyes and stared at Erza.

"Lucy?! Is that you!?" Erza screamed.

"Erza?! Let me out of here!! I'm hungry~" then Lucy's stomach grumbled.

"Do you remember what happened?" Erza asked.

"Nope. What happened? Wait, why do I look different?? Erza... is there something you should tell me?" Lucy asked with a faint smile.

"Yeah... I'm just glad you're alive." Erza said and breathed heavily.

"This is the Welcome-Back party for Lucy!! Cheers!!" Master Makarov shouted and raised a glass in front of the guild.

"Cheers!!" the guild members said in unison.

Lucy went out of the guild to get some fresh air and then smiled.

"I don't remember anything that happened. It looks like my magic is also restored." Lucy thought.

Meanwhile, her mother, Layla, appeared in front of her.

"M-mom?" Lucy stuttered.

"Hello Lucy. You sure have a lot of amazing friends. Or should I say, your new family." Layla said and looked the the guild.

"Yup! They are so fun! Mom, I've missed you so much. Don't you know that I've been writing letters for you?" Lucy asked and a tear fell from her eyes.

"I do. I do. Oh, Lucy... I wish I could stay but I can't. Goodbye my beloved daughter." Layla said while her body was glowing.

"Mom?! Mom!! Come back!!" Lucy yelled out and she trips in the ground.

"Mom!!!!!" she shouted once again.

On the sidelines, Natsu and Happy were watching Lucy. Happy asked Natsu if he could go console the crying Lucy but Natsu said to let her be.

"Natsu... I'm also crying. I can't go away from Lucy anymore. After Erza found her, she didn't talk to us. It's been 2 weeks." Happy said angrily.

"Fine..." Natsu said and went towards Lucy with Happy.

"Lucyyyy!!!" Happy cried out.

"Happy! Natsu!! What's up?" Lucy asked and gave them a toothy grin.

"Lucy, I've missed you! Don't you know Natsu kept sobbing when he thought you died!!" Happy teased.

"Umm... can't argue with that." Natsu said and rubbed the back of his head.

Lucy blushed and Natsu sat next to her.

"I've also missed you, Luce. We've been waiting for you." Natsu said as he looked at the starry night sky.

"I know. Looks like the celestial world is giving us a hello." Lucy chuckled and took a glance at the starry night sky.

"Then, hello! We've waited since forever." Natsu said and gave the sky a quick wave.

Happy kept hugging Lucy and didn't let go. Lucy kept on laughing when Natsu lost his track of balance and fell on the ground.
