“You would forgive us for being late because we have solved one of our pressing issues. This…” Rachel held Nick by the shoulders and pushed to faced everybody “…is Janicka Collins…”
“Just Nick, Janicka’s a mouthful and too sweet for a name”
“… and she wants to audition” continued Rachel.
“You’re the black eyed girl Rick ‘the stick’ keeps talking about.” said Sam
“Your hair is long and black, default vamp look. If you happen to not look good or not get out at daytime, I’d believe you’re an Asian vampire, that’s the only sort of confirmation I need… but vampires do look good and they sparkle at direct light. Do vampires sparkle in Asia? I’ve been asking Tina…” added Puck
“Ok that’s enough Puck, I don’t want Brittany to hear any of your self-made vampire history. And vampires… really?” said Mr. Shue
“Ooooh, the Volturi’s not gonna like that.” said Britanny loudly.
“Anyway, Rachel, I don’t understand why someone who’s willing to join would still need to go on an audition.” Asked Mr. Shue
“I’m fine with auditioning Mr. Shue and I wouldn’t want anyone to regret in allowing me to join, you have to screen me first” said Nick.
“All right then, let’s see what you got.”

Kurt has been eyeing Nick, and praise! She never even glanced at their side where he and Blaine sat. This girl is difficult, she made her intentions crystal clear but doesn’t do anything about it. Does she have hidden plans that are yet too early to be put in action, had she prayed to God to do something for her again? Hell, whatever those are, it is never going to work, not because he didn’t think God can’t, it’s because he won’t let it happen and he’d also pray for a counter attack. He then watched Blaine thinking how this handsome guy would react if he knew the truth. Would he still be smiling and swaying his arms when she’s singing like he’s doing now or will he be doing nothing and try not to listen? Will he still be as warm in accepting her to the club or will he say no and don’t allow her to be anywhere near them? Those questions will remain questions for he will make sure Nick or Nicka or Janicka will never ever do anything that will destroy them.

LIMA BEAN COFFEE SHOP
“I was expecting to see Sebastian doing his laundry around here”
“Kurt, we resolved everything since the MJ week. There’s no need to bring it up.” Blaine said as he sipped his usual medium drip and got back to reading “The Host” by Stephenie Meyer.
“That novel’s pretty popular” noticed Kurt remembering how he saw Nick reading the same book the first time they met.
“I know, the story’s pretty awesome” said Blaine without lifting his head, eyes fixed on the book.
Kurt had been finding a way to ask him about what he thinks of Nick, the reason why he talked Blaine into having coffee today rather than the planned watching of ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’. Blaine had been talking about watching it for weeks saying it’d be a perfect movie date though Kurt knew he just wanted to see Chris Hemsworth in action.
“What do you think of the new girl?” Kurt asked rather hurriedly. He hoped Blaine hasn’t sensed anything. He needs to control himself if he doesn’t want to give the big secret away. He drank his non-fat mocha to look casual… wrong move. Darn, coffees are sipped not gulped, he swear he could taste his tongue bleed. Hide it Kurt, hide it.
“Hmm…” Blaine placed a bookmark on the page he left, closed the book and placed it on the table and took another sip. “She could really sing, she’s perfect… a total package. She sings wonderfully and I think she is a huge plus for us. She’s new in school and we knew how that felt, she needs to feel welcomed. How about you invite her join your night-outs with Rachel and Mercedes?
Kurt is fighting a secret war involving the insides of his mouth and Blaine’s suggestion worsens it. Nick being his first out-and-proud lady rival would be the last person he’d invite over his sacred night-outs with the glee club originals. He’d rather invite Coach Sylvester over her, no… Coach Bieste? Ms. Pillsburry… he’d rather have Ms. Pillsburry. Settled.
“I’m going to think about that”
“Come on, it’s a great chance to get to know her. Kurt, she has to have friends. If you want her joining the group to work, we should know stuff about her as much as she will about us. We need to build and have trust. Blaine held Kurt’s hand and smiled.
Kurt held Blaine’s hand but found it hard to force a smile not because of his coffee-burned tongue but because of the thought that he would definitely have to invite Nick – the girl who has something cooking in her oven almost to be served. Blaine got back into reading and he was left to his thoughts. Blaine is definitely a catch, even Rachel wanted to make out with him. He’s a sweet, adorable, friendly, smart and funny guy…boys, girls and gays would want him, no exception. He had been in this situation for the longest time starting with Rachel, then Sebastian who even got brutal and now, Nick. He looks at Blaine and stared, those eyes… those hazel eyes that always looked at him with much passion and love, how those eyes speak for what Blaine thinks and feels, that nose… that nose that brushes his cheeks whenever he wakes up by his side in the morning, how the warmth of his breathing affect him in the slightest bit when they get close and that lips… that lips that burns his insides when it touches his’, the lips that he wished and prayed to be kissing and occasionally biting for the rest of his life. He’d definitely do everything… everything for this guy and nothing and no one will take him away from him. With this realization, he drank from his cup and again...it was a wrong move.
