Episode 33: History Begins

"Infinity.. well, Infinity was speaking to it's past origins. It first started talking when Kanishk put it inside the Histograph for the first time. And, till date, it is communicating. The missing of the five people in the past time was one of the results of this communication!" Rami was speaking French, as usual.

"What?" I lurked in. All this was so stupid at the same time so Aww-ing to take inside. Since the time I realized Rami knew everything we did with our phone past days, I felt irritated, especially when he mentioned about the secrets being safe with him! I knew that was for me. I had to explain him why, but I just could never get alone time with him. It was Avi, Nick, Niha and even April who were there, always when I even tried to have a conversation with him. He even got to know I wanted to talk, and went like, "We can talk later, Jake. Right now, it doesn't matter. I know why you are doing it. I understand." I was glad. But still..

"Wait, I'm not yet done.. As I said about the British origins, Infinity was planning something. The people who were in the making of it back then didn't finish it off, I mean, before they could make it a substance, they left Infinity with a forever curse that is now being seen since history repeated in that lab, again!"

"So, you mean, Infinity was cursed with something, and because of that it's sucking people in? Then why only 2, the first time and 3 the second? Why no one in between? Why none of us? Why not you? Why not anyone in KRI when it was being done!"

"Yes. To understand that, I'll have to tell you the story of Infinity's curse during History!"

"Wait.. wait. So, you're telling, you got to know about Infinity's story. But how? From that Machine? I thought you said that machine was means of Infinity communicating!"

"Well. Yes, it is. But, ever wondered what it communicated? It communicated the story of itself to the other self of itself. As I said, Infinity isn't just a virus, it is a living thing. So, the past form of Infinity seems to have somehow seen or heard what happened in it's making. And, after months of studying what they told each other, I kind of compiled the whole history and your missing friends fit in my theory really well!"

"What do you mean seen and heard? It isn't a dog to understand human language! No offense, but are you hearing yourself?" asked Avi.

"Okay. Gosh! I need some peace here while I'm trying to explain stuffs to you. I know what I'm saying and I want you to know it too! So, shut the f*ck up and listen. I know, Swaroop, language, but, your kids are too curious." Rami ended up looking at Mr. Swaroop.

"So, Infinity communicated like, in your language, 'Where are you?' \'I don't know, I am in a palace with servants!' \'What else is there?' \'I see a lot of who they are understanding as important people and they are fighting!' and so on... It was basically telling the Infinity of our lab all this kind of things and their conversation were stored as waves in these papers! And about how they understood the language, well, Infinity has the adaptation power. It is like a baby in the beginning who has no idea of anything. But, eventually it learns from the things around it. So, Infinity was with those servants for a time long enough to learn their language and understood everything happening there. And putting up all that together I understood, or I may say, came up with the Infinity Theory!"

"How can you be so sure that the signals you were getting back from the other side is the truth? I mean, you have no proof or any clue of any of it! It was the past."

"Even I thought so, until, our side of Infinity started speaking. It said exactly the description of the room it was kept in and the description of what people wore when they came there and also a few of what they spoke, too! See.." he got up, shuffled a set of papers, too out one little bundle from it. "This is it's explanation of KRI in it's terms. Duh! It even told about the dead Infinity, can you believe it?"

"Shit! So you're telling me Infinities of different timeline shared information regarding their situations to each other and why do you think they were doing this? They were planning on something?"

"I have no idea. I'm going to tell you the Older Infinity's story and you decide. So, as I said, it heard the servants talking and it heard a lot more. So, after research and understanding and developing conclusions with whatever I had from Kanishk and whatever I got from the present Infinity, the story of the old Infinity is quite a weird, yet extremely interesting one. Here we go..
Remember those days when India was ruled by the British? Well, we'll have to go back almost 200 years ago for this one. The beginning stages when they just creeped in to the country and started making small empires and rules, it so happened, they took refugees from our country back their country to serve as their slaves. It was a common thing back then. Some people actually happily went with them, seeing the poverty they had to face and also they loved the 'Civilized' as they called the British and felt the honor to work for them. Also, they were promised their family's security over there, which at that time wasn't at all seen here. So, there were groups of people who went there along with their families.
Then, it so happened that a war was called between two of the states in Britain itself at around the same time. The war was scheduled to be within a year. One of the two Kingdoms, named, EARLS, needed something that was really strong to save their Kingdom and use to fight against the other Kingdom as the one who wins the war would get a land to rule here, in India. So, as they knew Indians were very smart and the ones they made refugees were educated ones, they took advantage of this and made a deal with them. The deal was for them to create a substance that was unbreakable, that was powerful, beyond human reach and that was immortal, and in return they're going to be free of any labor and with their families, they will be given a place in the Royal Head Minister Quarters and treated equal to the Ministers of the palace! And hence, a group of 32 Indians set to create something that was never done before, something, sworn to secrecy and never let to even spit out to their families about, something that would either give them Royalty for life, or their head along with their family's. That was, I don't know what they named it, but, what we know it to be, as Infinity."

"Wow! Infinity spoke all that?"

"You kidding me? Remember? Me and your Dad met in Chandigarh? Well, I was there in search of this lost part of history and I found this and then connected everything to what Infinity spoke in Histograph and here we are!"

"Wow!" That was the coolest thing to do, ever! This will be interesting..
