Chapter 4: The contract

Aniera's POV

As our hands parted, the burning stops. Woah, what the heck is that?! Does he have to do that?! He is so mean!!

"That effing hurts you know?!" Paghuhumerintado ko sa sakit. Kahit sino naman magrereklamo diba?

Ngumiti naman siya ng pang asar kaya inirapan ko siya.

"Its our contract. It was just a little tattoo I made from the back of your neck." Sabi niya saka sumenyas sakin na tumayo na. Ako naman si uto-uto eh sumunod din agad. Malay mo baka may gawin nanaman sakin to, mas malala pa sa burning sensation na ginawa niya kanina.

"Why tattoo? Pwede namang sa papel diba? But, whatever. Given naman ata sainyo yon bilang mga supernaturals diba?"

"Oo naman." Ngumiti naman ng malapad ang loko. Aba! Palangiti ata itong demonyong ito. "Sa ngayon Aniera, magbihis ka na muna at ipapakilala kita sa  taong makakatrabaho mo." Itinuro niya sakin yung pink na cabinet sa may kanan ko.

Tumango naman ako saka siya nag excuse para lumabas dahil magbibihis na ako. Pagbukas ko ng cabinet, lumantad sakin ang isang black v-neck t-shirt, black leather jacket, black pants at pares ng black converse. I didn't hesitate at kinuha ko ito upang suotin. Go Aniera! Kaya mo to. Sanay ka naman sa mga ganitong raket diba? Kaso, this time may mga supernaturals na involved.

Pagkatapos kong magbihis, lumabas na ako ng kwarto and to shock the hell out of me, I just simply witnessed the whole living hell of this place ,like, literally hell talaga!! To my left, I can see the hopeless human souls trying to find there way out of the endless pit of hell, while to my right, the poor souls is dying all over and over again as if it will never end.

Napaluha ako sa mga nakikita ko kaya pumasok ako agad ng kuwarto. Napaatras ako sa sobrang takot kaya di ko namalayang nandoon na sa likuran ko ang demonyong kausap ko kanina.

"You didn't like what you have witnessed out there, am I right?" He asked. Sa tono ng boses niya, parang curious siya.

Nanginginig parin sa takot ang katawan ko kaya hindi ako agad nakasagot sa kanya.

I looked at him and simply wiped my tears off.

"No. Not a single thing."

"Then lets get out of here." He offered his hand that I took gratefully. As our hands touched, we teleported to place that I don't know.

Zacharius's POV

What a douche! Why make me wait?! Am I really not a very important demon now? Damn, Im busy! I have to reach my quota because I missed some details from my last mission. I actually burned it out of frustration. Sheesh, I guess the higher ups is mad at me.

I raised an eyebrow when the douche pop right in front of me. I got intimidated when I saw him with a girl beside him.

"I thought your not coming Silvius. Where in the devil have you been?!" I cried, fuming mad. He's fifteen minutes late. Yeah this douche doesn't not how to value time.

He only smirked at me.

"I would like you to meet your apprentice for your oh-so-fucked up mission Zacharius." I rolled my eyes at him. I let him finish his words before I start to talk. He even have the guts to introduce a girl for me when I was furious because of his tardiness!

"The higher ups wanted you to know that your contract with Aniera is already sealed, so there is no backing up with that."

"What the, wait a minute. You mean this has been decided? Already?!" The hell?! I just made a little mistake, why do I have to suffer having an apprentice? A human apprentice?!

"Yes of course. Now Zacharius, I want you to stay still so I could seal the contract to you too, since the heavens doesn't trust you, you know with your work." He said, bleakly. I rolled my eyes again.

"Just get on with it Silvius. I don't care what the heavens decided to play tricks on me. This is my punishment. Just get it done, quickly." I said nonchalantly, not interested with his words of fucking wisdom.

"Alright then. I shall put the seal on you right at this moment."

After giving me the seal. I clenched my jaw as the terms of the contract pisses me a lot. They are really testing the hell out of me then. They are really testing my patience!! How come that I have to protect this human, when I cant even protect myself from this punishment?! Damn! My life is so screwed.

"Zacharius, I want you to know that the higher ups wants you to pay the price from the mistake you've made-" I waved him off.

"Nah, just get to the point demon. Im losing my patience." I said while tapping the table.

He shrugged, not totally convinced but still continued.

"Why so impatient demon? Cant wait to spread darkness huh?" The girl scoffed beside Silvius. What the! He totally looked for a perfect apprentice then! A beautiful cunning lady with a oh-so-badass attitude. Great! Now  I am literally screwed!!

I faked a smile and glared at her. This human girl doesn't know how to be afraid to a demon huh.

"Shut up lady, mind your own business." I snapped at her and gave her my best fake smile. I'm trying to hold myself back here, seriously? What happened to our realm? Are they've gone crazy enough to pull this kind of stunt in me? But why only me?! Whyyyyyy??!!!!
