Chapter 8: My work is what?!

Zacharius's POV

I want to laugh at her now pale face!! The way she swallowed hard, how her perspiration run down her temples. Ha! Now all I have to do is to teach her about her work.

I snapped my fingers to get her attention.

"Hey day dreamer! Wake up! I need to show you something." I said. Waking her up from daydreaming.

She shrugged and sighed.

"What?!" Now thats more like it. She is being herself again. The rude girl I know.

I rolled my eyes at her.

"I need to show you how your powers works and when to use it." I said matter-of-factly. She looked skeptical then to excited. She switch moods almost immediately. This human is really weird.

"Oh goodie! Now, will you teach me?" She said while bouncing up and down like a kid. Strange. Now she's acting really weird!!

"Why so excited about it? Your weird!!"

"I'm not weird Zach, I'm just excited with all these powers and stuff. Can you tell me what my work is?" She asked. Her hazel eyes stared unblinking at me. I kept on walking, making her follow.

As we came across the road and went to the nearest park where kids and adults usually bond. We stopped at the edge of the park. I motioned her to sit on the bench with me, she automatically obliged.

"So,"she started."Are you going to tell me what my work is?" The persistent attitude of hers is coming again.

I turned to look at her and gave her a bored look.

"Look Annie-" I was taken aback when she cut me off.

"Don't call me Annie!" She snapped. I am almost at my peak when I remembered that she might kick me again if I were too slow to notice. Calm yourself Zacharius, calm down. Don't mind her.

"Fine!" I said, hastily. Not minding her face getting red from anger. Gee! This girl is really something.

"Now what? Sabihin mo na kasi nang malaman ko na. Try mo na ring i-demonstrate para maganda!" Tss. This annoying girl is really ticking me off.

I waved her off and started to think if this decision of mine to help her harnessing her powers will help me shove her off. She's a huge pain in the ass blabbing nonstop at me!!

"Gee Aniera, stop blabbing okay! I will teach you how if you stop that mouth of yours to talk!" I'm going insane if I keep on      being with her. She is one of a nut-headed freak!
