I immediately think of that hotel 78 miles from here. I drive even though my eyelids were practically falling shut. I get there and check in under the name Emma Smith. I check into my room. I want to be able to leave quickly, so I live out of my suitcase . My suitcase was my get away bag. It contained:
1 pair of sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt for pajamas
3 pairs of shorts
1 skirt
3 dresses
5 shirts
10 pairs of underwear/socks
5 bras ( I would barely leave )
1 box of granola bars, 1 box of saltines, 3 apples, 4 Hershey bars, and some water
A toothbrush, toothpaste, hair stuff, feminine supplies, and nail polish
Flip flops and sneakers
2 pairs of heels
A jacket
A cardigan
3 novels
My laptop
Chargers
My bag was filled. I stocked up in cash. I took all my savings out. ($1,057) I need to be frugal if I want to survive. I pay the fifteen dollars for the night and head out towards an abandon hotel.
