I get to the inn and am surprised to see that someone is working the front desk. I automatically go in and see it is a fugitives heaven. A sign says cash only: $10 a week! I walk up to the front desk a and ask about privacy. The front desk manager says; people come here to hide, we respect that with every paying costumer. I ask for a room in the back on the second floor. Get to my room (178) and look around. It has a full sized bed, a desk, drawers with A tv on top, and a bathroom. I am about to settle in and then I think about my car. I drive it to the back of the hotel out of sight. I return to my room. I pull a pocket knife out of my pocket. I put the granola bars on the desk. I turn on the news and watch. It is at commercial break. I think about the hotel cost. It will be $40 a month, for 12 months. About $500 dollars a year. I need a job. I stop thinking as the news returns. My face is plastered all over it. They are looking for my car. I won't be able to use it. Dang! That means the only job I can get is at the bar half a mile down the road. I see the hotel has a little mini store. Perfect!
