Chapter 10.

Ethan

After they left I went to take a bath, relaxing in the water I thought about today's events.

I broke so many rules, what if dad finds out?!? He would beat me like i stole something.

Trembling at that thought I hurriedly bath, getting out I pull on my pink night gown.

Getting into bed I fell asleep with my new friends on my mind.

Waking up I climbed out the bed with a smile on my face, for some reason I felt so happy and energetic.

I ran into the bathroom and did my business.

"What should i wear today?"  Walking over to my closet I pulled out a blue sweater with some black tights.

Slipping them on I pulled on some dark blue sneakers.

I didn't feel like doing my hair so I just put it in a ponytail.

Grabbing my handbag I left the house.

"Hey!!" I heard someone shout, scared to look back I started to walk quicker.

"ETHAN!!" Turning around I see Lucas   driving up to me.

"Sorry if I scared you but I wanted to give you a ride today." He says winking. "It's ok but you don't have to I live right around the corner from the school." I mumble.

"No no i insist, we are friends now." He says getting out of the truck. Walking over to the passenger side he opened the door, waiting for me to climb in.

Blushing I just stood there, "Come on I would never hurt you." "No that's not the problem, um I can't climb in."

Laughing he picked me up, I felt like drooling at the sight of his muscles as they lift me into the truck.

"Thank you Lucas." Giving him a small smile.

"Anything for you." He says running to the drivers side.

Pulling into the school as we got out of the truck i notice people staring out us. Looking at Lucas he didn't look faze by it.

"Why is everybody staring?" I asked him.

Looking at me he smiled, "it's because your with me, it's weird for me to talk to other people that wasn't my group of friends."

"Why don't you hang out with other people?"

"I just never found a person who just wanted to be my friend and not just for my popularity."

Am I that person? I wondered.

"Now let's find Xavier before the bell ring." He says grabbing my hand while gently pulling me into the school.

Finding Xavier wasn't hard he actually found us.

"Hey guys did y'all hear about the new student that will be joining us next week?" Xavier ask.

"No is it a girl or boy?" Lucas ask. "We don't know all we know is that they are rich." Xavier say frowning.

"Let's just hope they won't cause any trouble m." I smile.

As the bell ring Lucas pulled me to first hour.

As Lunch time rolled around I was nervous, today was the day I would be eating with them.

Biting my nails I thought about what daddy would do if I sit with them.

"It's actually a little to late for that." I whispered.

"A little to late for what?" Jumping I looked behind me and realized it was Xavier.

"Don't think about bailing out on this, I won't say no for an answer."

He says pulling into the lunch room which everyone eyes was on us as we passed by.

Reaching the table I notice that there was two boys that was sitting with Lucas as we walked up.

Looking closer I notice it was the boys that was staring at me the other day.

"Ethan this is Quinn and James, Quinn  and James this is Ethan."

Lucas introduced us, "It's nice to meet you suger." The boy they said was James said while winking.

Quinn shook his head and smiled at me, "it's very nice to meet you we have heard  a lot about you."

Quinn says, "what is your favorite band?" James ask excitedly.

"Oh I love Sleeping with the sirens." I say looking down.

They were going to make fun of me.

Nervously I looked up, James looked at me like i won a million dollars.

"OMG!!!!! That's my favorite too!!!" He shouts causing other tables to look at us.

"Shut it your causing a scene!" Xavier hit him aside the head.

"Thank you for sitting with us today." Lucas says grinning at me.

"Your welcome." I say blushing.

"I hope I wasn't being to pushy about you coming to sit with us, I just wanted to get to know you better. Like I said earlier it's hard to make friends."

"How do you know that I'm not out just for your popularity?" I ask frowning.

"I don't, but these pass few days watching you I don't think your out for popularity." He says amused.

I smiled Xavier started a conversation about cats and the whole lunch with them cracking jokes and me laughing.

I hope to stay for like this forever but it's always calm before the storm and there's a big one coming.
