Chapter Seven

BROOKLYN'S POV:

Today was the dinner and I decided to wear a cute light pink strapless dress that was mid-thigh. I wore my white flats that had ribbons on the top and my hair down to loose waves. Me and Falyn watched tv while waiting for them to pick us up. As if on cue, when the show ended, we heard someone close their car door and the doorbell ring. We opened it up to see Myles and Ana.

"Hey you guys! You both look lovely." Ana complimented.

"Yeah, super lovely." Myles said biting his lip while looking at Falyn mostly. I was smelling love in the air.

"Anyways, we should go now guys, we don't wanna be late for our reservations." Myles said.


We rode in two seperate cars. The first one had Kalin, Ana, Cam, and Tyler. The second was with me, Jake, Falyn, and Myles. Jake and Myles were in the two front seats and me and Falyn sat in the back. The car ride wasn't really awkward, it was actually quiet, but the knd of quiet that wasn't awkward. 


Once we got there, we went inside and all sat down. Falyn sat between Myles and Jake, while I sat between Cam and Tyler. Kalin and Ana sat together and it looked like he had a babysitter, so I mentally laughed at him. We ordered our food, and while we waited, everyone had their own conversations. Myles and Falyn seemed to really like each other's company. They were leaning in really close and laughing alot. And every once in a while, one of them would be blushing. 

On the other hand, me, Tyler and Cam were talking, but Cam would be talking to Jake so it was just me and Tyler talking.

"So, what exactly happened between you and Kalin? Whenever Ana mentions your name to us, he always groans." Tyler asked.

I explained to him everything that happened at the meet and greet and at the little set up lunch we had. 

"Wow, I don't know why he would say that about you. You're actually really beautiful and a really cool girl to talk to, so he's missing out." he smiled. 

I blushed. "Thanks Ty."

As I look to my left where Ana and Kalin were sitting, I see Kalin's eye staring down at me and trust me, he looked pissed. But I don't know why because he hasn't talked to me all night.

After a few more laughs, blushes, and sweet conversations, our food finally came and we all ate.

They dropped me and Falyn back home and we all hugged goodbye. Except for Kalin of course. When I hugged Tyler, it was such a good hug. But as I went to let go, he pulled me back in for another hug. I was really surprised but I hugged him back anyways. He let go and said bye, and they drove off. I looked at Falyn who was looking back.

"Woah, what was that hug?" she said with widened eyes.

"I don't even know..."
