BROOKLYN'S POV:

I woke up the next day and the sun was shining. I always woke up happy whenver the sun was shining through the curtains. I figured that I should go over to Tyler's house. Maybe he wasn't mad anymore.

I knocked on his door, and he opened it up with a smile, but then it went away.

"Hey," he said emotionless.

"Well hey to you too mister," I said as I took off my shoes.

I sat down next to him, but he kinda scooted away. But I thought he was just trying to make space for me.

I scooted over a little to him and put my head on his shoulder as he played video games, but then he shut the game off and got up and went to the kitchen. What the hell?

"Hey are you okay? Are you still mad about yesterday? What's wrong?" I ask, worried.

"I don't know Brooklyn, you tell me." he said, putting down his water bottle and both hands on the kitchen countertop.

I was realy confused. "What are you talking about?" I asked.

"I don't know, maybe you should ask Kalin!" he yelled.

"What do you mean ask Kalin?! Tyler what's wrong with you, your talking crazy right now. Why don't you explain to me what's wrong?!"

"I went over to Kalin's house to go say sorry to you because I knew you'd be there, but you know what else I heard Brooklyn? You talking to Kalin and telling him that you like him! How could you do this to me?!"

I felt so bad, I couldn't say anything, it's like I lost the ability to talk. "Tyler I-" I started.

"You know what, just get out please. I need to be alone." he said.

I understanded that he was hurt, so I grabbed my stuff and left.

How could I be so selfish?
