Chapter 5 The awakening

Marks pov: We were waiting for Ryan to wake up when all of a sudden we heard beeping coming from the control center  Spyder said is it a monster I said I hope not. When we got up there and there was a huge monster Harris said NOT THE TIME NOT THE TIME!!! I said Spyder you fire and Harris put the shield up. I will check on Ryan.When I got to the med bay Ryan was screaming he stopped then he woke up and looked at me what is it he said. I said there is a monster and are you ok? He got down and said I'm fine now let's deal with that monster.We got up there and Harris and Spyder said yay you're ok now get that monster I don't know how long this shield can hold he said ok then he got into the harness and flashed his eyes blue and got into a fighting stance and yelled Harris put the shield down are you sure Ryan Harris said Ryan said yes Harris I am. Harris put the shield down and Spyder stopped firing.Ryan jumped and hit the monster but the monster shot an arrow straight through the side of the robots head.Ryan destroyed it but when he turned to us there was a big gash on the side of his head Ryan fell to the floor and I ran right to him and I yelled Ryan can you hear me. He said really weakly yes..I...hear...you.I then turned to Harris which was ready to help carry and Spyder went down to the med bay.Once we got him down there Harris stopped the wound from bleeding then he scanned Ryan and finally said guys this isn't good I asked WHAT IS IT!!!?Then he said when the arrow shot Ryan in the head it also shot the part where Ryan uses his technopath abilities which means he won't have them anymore.Ryan mumbled Mark Mark I said Ryan I'm here I'm here then he pointed to his ears.Harris said he must have lost some of his hearing. Ryan said what!?I said to Ryan You lost some of your hearing.He said ok then he went into the living courters and he tried to turn on the TV he said I can do this I can do this then he focused harder on the TV he said why isn't this working then he got really frustrated and hit the TV. Then he asked does anyone know why I can't turn on the TV?I said Ryan you might want to sit.I gestured the sit down motion he sat down and I said slowly you lost your technopath abilities. Ryan said no this can't be happening! How did this happen? Harris said when the arrow went through your head it also went through the part where you use your powers.Ryan said ok so what do I do now I feel useless now Ryan you're not useless.Then without another word he left the robot.
Ryan's Pov: When I woke up Mark was looking at me and I said to him what is it then he said there is a monster and are you ok? I said I'm fine now let's deal with that monster.When we got up there Harris and Spyder said hey Ryan we are glad you're ok now get that monster we don't know how long we can hold it off.I said ok then went and got in my harness and started punching and right before I destroyed it, it shot an arrow at my head.I finally destroyed it I turned to my friends and my brother they started getting really blurry I collapse to the floor but I was still  conscious Mark ran up to me and said Ryan can you hear me? I said weakly yes...I...can.Then Harris and Mark rushed me to the med bay.I felt my wound stop bleeding then I could only hear bits and pieces of the conversation Mark looked at me I was pointing to my ears and he came up to me and said something but I just looked at him.He then turned to Harris and I heard him say he lost some of his hearing. I got up and went into the living courters I tried to turn on the TV but it wouldn't turn on I got really frustrated and hit the TV.Then I turned to my friends and brother does anybody know why I can't turn on the TV?Then Mark came to me he said something but I don't know what he gestured a down motion and sat on the couch he started to speak but slowly Ryan you lost your technopath abilities.I then stood up and said no this can't be happening!How did this happen!?Harris said when the arrow went through your head it also went through the part where you use your powers.I said ok what do I do now I feel useless.Mark said Ryan you're not useless  then without another word I left the robot. I just want to be alone because all of this is so hard to take in all at once.I went to the skate park to try to get my mind off all of this.I went home around 1 AM.I went in really quietly Mark fell asleep on the couch I went to my room and fell asleep and I thought to myself tomorrow is going to be really weird.My alarm went off I tried to turn it off but I still couldn't then I just slapped it off.Mark barged in my room he said wake up we have school today I got up without saying a word well I didn't hear him that well but I could hear bits and pieces of stuff. I walked out to the kitchen ate something then got in the car and Mark drove to school.Mark said hey at least you can kinda hear stuff and mom won't be home for a while.When did you come home last night? I didn't say anything I felt really weird and useless.When we got to school I went in and went to my locker Harris and Spyder were there I just want to not talk to anyone right now.Harris said hey Rye how are you I didn't say anything. Then Spyder tried to cheer me up by hitting Harris instead of reacting like I always do when he does that I just went on to my first class,which I have all my classes with Harris and Spyder. The first class was horrible I couldn't hear the teacher at all.My next class wasn't any good either because of my hearing. Luckily we don't have any homework.Next was lunch Harris and Spyder sat with me . Harris had a paper and a pencil he wrote Ryan please talk to us. We can help you get your hearing back.I said ok then left.After school instead of riding with Mark I rode my skateboard to the robot. Harris ,Mark, and Spyder met me there.Once my hearing was finally back to normal Harris said Ryan please talk to us.I said I just want some space to take in the fact I'm never going to get my POWERS BACK! Then took my skateboard and took off.I didn't go home that night I just stayed at the skate park.Mark came but he hid in his car but I knew he was there .I knew he was worried about me.I skated all night and day my grades started to slip a little.Mark finally came to me he stood in front of me but I just jumped over him and landed perfectly on my board so he stepped off and started to talk about what happened.I said Mark did you ever have powers and then one day feel like a whole part of you is missing? Well that is how I feel right now! He said no but Rye I know how you must feel right now and please comeback to us please. I said there is no us anymore Mark MECHX4 IS DONE! Ryan I think mom would be very disappointed in you.What you didn't do what I think you did?Mark said of course not what do you think I am an idiot for telling mom about this.I said no then he left. Mark came back with Harris, Spyder, and Leo.When they came back to the park I was already skating on the road.When Mark saw I was skating on the road he ran up and stepped on the back of my skateboard, which caused me to fly off and land on the ground in the grass.Leo and Spyder came running up to me and helped me up. Harris came over and Leo handed him something but I didn't know what it was.I felt a prick on my neck and I saw Harris fade into blackness.The next morning I woke up and was in my bed .I heard Mark get up but I stayed in bed because I was so tired and didn't want to get up.Mark walked by my room I'm surprised he didn't barge in my room like he always does in the morning. I heard him on the phone I think it's Harris he never calls my friends.I began drifting off to sleep again because I was so tired.I heard Mark come in but he was still on the phone.I heard him say yea he is still asleep then he said ok and walked out.I was asleep almost all day I woke up and went out to the kitchen. Mark was on the couch still on the phone.Mark then said hey I have to go he is up see you soon.I got some food and sat down at the table.Mark came over and asked how are you doing?I said I feel weird and really useless.Mark said I know and you're not useless Harris,Leo, and Spyder are coming here ok. I said ok then got up and went to my room to get changed.After I got changed I felt a little light headed but I shook it off and went out and sat on the couch I tried to turn on the TV but failed.Then I decided to look for the remote.I couldn't find it I yelled to Mark hey do you know where the remote is!?Mark came and said no.Then there was a knock at the door.Mark opened the door and Leo,Harris,and Spyder came in.Harris said hey rye how you doing?I said I feel so useless and I feel a part of me is missing.Harris frowned and then Leo came over he said there might be a way to get your powers back but I don't know if it will work.I said to him lets do it.Leo went over to his bag and got out the nerosplicer I said how is that going to help me get my powers back?Leo said well how you got your powers was by a lightning strike into a cap just like this but it's was on your parents they were put into this machine that generated enough energy to give them these powers.We will have to go the mech to do this.I said let's do this.We went to the Mech. Leo went into his RV and pressed a button that took us down to the machine.I got in the machine Mark looked really worried but he let me do it I asked what are the clamps for and Leo said so you stay in.I said ok then Leo put the nerosplicer on my head and turned it on.He went back and said Ryan are you ready? I said yes let's do this.Leo pushed a button and the Lightning came down onto the nerosplicer the room started spinning then everything went black.

Then I said to Mark come to me and Spyder in the corner.Then when we were out of ear range of Ryan I said to Mark and Spyder that when the arrow went through the head of the Robot it also went through where Ryan uses his powers.Then I saw Ryan go into the living space so I followed him Mark and Spyder came too.We saw Ryan try to turn on the TV he got really frustrated and hit the TV.Mark went over to him and did a sit down gesture with his hands.Ryan sat down on the couch and Mark said that he lost his powers then I explained how he lost his powers.Ryan got up and ran out of the Robot.The next day me and Spyder saw Ryan at our lockers and he was acting really weird I went over to him and I said Ryan can you please talk to us.Then Ryan just looked at me and said just leave me alone.I said ok then he went to our first class.Lunch finally came and me and Spyder wrote on a piece of paper because of Ryan's hearing it said Ryan we can get your hearing back just come to the Robot after school. He said ok then went to the rest of our classes.After school we went to the Robot to restore Ryans hearing,after we did I asked Ryan please talk to us we can figure this out together.Then he said I just want to be left alone and get the fact that I'm never going to GET MY POWERS BACK!After Ryan said that he got his skateboard and ran out of the Robot.The next day we had school and I didn't see Ryan at all Mark said to me and Spyder to tell all of Ryans teachers that he was sick and get all of his homework and do it. After school we went to the Robot I said any sign of Ryan Mark said no he didn't come home last night.I said that can't be good I pulled up Ryans mech link but it said he was at home Mark said I'll go check to see if he came home when we were at school.After a few minutes of waiting for a response from Mark there was a call from Mark on my phone.I answered it he said that Ryan wasn't there.I said I'll go check the skate park he might be there.When I got there I saw him on his skateboard in the park and he was skating on the ramp there was no one else there but I went towards Ryan.I said to Ryan you need to come home we were worried about you he then said well Harris this is the new me because my powers are gone and MECHX4 IS DONE! So leave me alone then he skated away when Mark,Spyder,and Leo came to me after they saw Ryan skating away. Mark ran after him and luckily stepped on the back of Ryans skateboard to stop him.Ryan flew off of the skateboard then Leo and Spyder went over to him to pick him up and Make sure he wouldn't run again then I went over to Ryan and said Ryan I have to give you this it will help so Leo handed me a syringe and I injected it into his neck and watched him fall asleep.Then I said let's take him home.When we got to Ryan's house and we put him in bed and Mark stayed with Ryan to make sure he was ok and call us when we found out a way to get his powers back I said to him just let him sleep if he is up just call us ok. He said ok and I said we are lucky tomorrow is Saturday and not a school day and that you're mom is at another food convention.I said I will call you when we get a way figured out.Me,Spyder,and Leo went to the Robot to figure a way to get Ryans powers back.Leo said AH HA I GOT IT! I said what is your idea then Leo said well how Ryan got his powers was by a lightning strike into a cap just like this but it's was on his parents they were put into this machine that generated enough energy to give them these powers.I said ok I'll call Mark.I said to Mark go Check if Ryan is still sleeping he said ok then he said he is still asleep.I said ok let him sleep and we will be over soon because we have to get stuff for our idea. Ok he said.Then he said Ryan's up go to go I'll see you soon.After we got to Ryan's house I said hey Ryan how are you doing?Ryan said I feel useless and like a part of me is missing.Then came over and said there might be a way to get your powers back but I don't know if it will work.Ryan said ok let's do it.Then Leo went over to his bag and got out the nerosplicer.Ryan asked how is this supposed to help me get my powers back.Then Leo explained to Ryan what he said to me in the robot.Then Leo said we can't do it here but we can at the Robot.When we got to the Robot Leo said follow me,he lead us into his Rv and pushed a button that took us down underneath his Rv. There was a machinen with one of thosose helmates he was talking about. Ryan went up to the machien and stood in it.After he put the cap on Leo said put your feet and hands in these clamps.Ryan said ok and after he did what Leo said.Leo said to the rest of us to follow him and we went behind this wall of glass.Leo said ok Ryan are you ready? Ryan said yes then Leo turned it on and there was a lightning bolt that hit the nerosplicer.After it was done Ryan wasn't there I said to Leo where did Ryan go?He said I don't know then Mark went over to someone who was laying on the floor unconscious.Mark put his hand over his mouth at the horrifying sight the person looked like a 9-10 year old.I said to Mark could that be Ryan? Mark said I don't know then Leo came over and looked at the 9-10 year old then said it might be but lf it is Ryan we have to scan him and make sure he is ok.We carried the boy up to the med bay.Mark put the boy on the bed and I scanned him.After I scanned the boy I looked at the screen and compared the brain of the young boy to Ryans brain and it was the exact same.I said how is this possible!!Then I turned to Mark,Spyder,and Leo and said it's Ryan.They looked at me and then at the young Ryan who was unconscious and had burns on his face.Mark said so what do we do now that HE DEAGED 6 YEARS!Leo said Mark don't look now but I think there is a monster comeing and we still don't know if Ryan got his powers back.The ground rummbled and we turned on the news and the person on the screen said where are you Mechx4 if you are watching this please come. Leo said we need to get to that Monster.I said and how are we going to get there because Ryan is 9 or 10 years old and HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN MOVE THE ROBOT! Then Ryan's eyes open.
