Chapter 6 The Monster

Previously on the darkness within.  
Harris POV :When we got to the Robot Leo said follow me,he lead us into his Rv and pushed a button that took us down underneath his Rv. There was a machinen with one of thosose helmates he was talking about. Ryan went up to the machien and stood in it.After he put the cap on Leo said put your feet and hands in these clamps.Ryan said ok and after he did what Leo said.Leo said to the rest of us to follow him and we went behind this wall of glass.Leo said ok Ryan are you ready? Ryan said yes then Leo turned it on and there was a lightning bolt that hit the nerosplicer.After it was done Ryan wasn't there I said to Leo where did Ryan go?He said I don't know then Mark went over to someone who was laying on the floor unconscious.Mark put his hand over his mouth at the horrifying sight the person looked like a 9-10 year old.I said to Mark could that be Ryan? Mark said I don't know then Leo came over and looked at the 9-10 year old then said it might be but lf it is Ryan we have to scan him and make sure he is ok.We carried the boy up to the med bay.Mark put the boy on the bed and I scanned him.After I scanned the boy I looked at the screen and compared the brain of the young boy to Ryans brain and it was the exact same.I said how is this possible!!Then I turned to Mark,Spyder,and Leo and said it's Ryan.They looked at me and then at the young Ryan who was unconscious and had burns on his face.Mark said so what do we do now that HE DEAGED 6 YEARS!Leo said Mark don't look now but I think there is a monster comeing and we still don't know if Ryan got his powers back.The ground rummbled and we turned on the news and the person on the screen said where are you Mechx4 if you are watching this please come. Leo said we need to get to that Monster.Mark said and how are we going to get there because Ryan is 9 or 10 years old and HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN MOVE THE ROBOT! Then Ryan's eyes open.

Mark POV:After we got to the Robot and Leo took us down to where he built some machine that would get Ryan's powers back.After Ryan got into the machine Leo put the cap on Ryan's head and went to where we were and turned to Ryan and said are you ready?Ryan said yea let's do this then Leo started the machine and a bolt of lightning came down onto the cap.I saw Ryan in that machine screaming then we saw a huge white light,After our eyes adjusted back to the room I saw that the machine was empty.I heard Harris say Leo where did Ryan go?Then Leo said I don't know! Then I saw someone laying on the floor unconscious so I went over to that person.What I saw shocked me and gave me chills down my spine.The person was a boy and I'd say he was around 9 or 10.Harris asked me if it could be Ryan?I said I don't know.Then Leo said it might be but if it is Ryan we need to scan him to make sure he is ok.Then we took the 9-10 year old boy up and layed him on the med bed. Harris scanned him and then said how is this even possible! I said what is it? Harris said it's Ryan and I said so what do we do now that HE DEAGED 6 YEARS!Leo said Mark don't look now but I think there is a monster comeing and we still don't know if Ryan got his powers back.The ground rummbled and we turned on the news and the person on the screen said where are you Mechx4 if you are watching this please come. Leo said we need to get to that Monster.I said and how are we going to get there because Ryan is 9 or 10 years old and HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN MOVE THE ROBOT!Then Ryan's eyes open I ran to Ryan's side and I said to him please have your powers back so we can defeat that monster.Then Ryan said where am I and who are you. I said Ryan you're in the robot and I'm your brother Mark and these are your best friends Harris and Spyder and Leo is the guy who built this Robot.Ryan just stared at me then he ran off.The ground rumbled again the monster was getting closer.I said to Harris,Spyder,and Leo to hold it off while I try to get my 9-10 year old brother back here and see if he still has his powers.
Ryan/younger Ryan pov: I woke up to people who I didn't know and I didn't know where I was.I said where am I and who are you? Then the tall kid came over and said Ryan I'm your brother Mark he said pointing to himself.Then he said these are your best friends Harris and Spyder he said as he points to two teenagers that look a few years older than me.He pointed to a tall scrawny man and said this is Leo he is the one who built this giant Robot that only you can control.I said um then got up and ran.Once I was out of the robot I ran through a parking lot and all the cars started flashing their headlights and beeping.I was freaking out but all I could do is run.I noticed that boy who claims to be my older brother chasing me.I ran to my house and locked myself in my room.The ground started rumbling and I looked outside my window there was a huge monster and I ran to my door and opened it.When I went to the kitchen everything electric was going haywire and I looked at the door and ran outside but everything I ran by was acting really weird like they were going to attack me. Then I stopped in an ally and I turned around and saw something coming towards me I just looked at it and I thought in my head please stop.The boy who was chasing me saw me and said oh no Ryan.Then something incredible happened the thing that came towards me suddenly stopped and fell to the ground.I looked at the boy then everything blacked out.When I came to I was in the robot then I saw the older boy and my two friends I guess and that inventer dude.They said Ryan are you ok then for some reason the robot was moving.Leo looked at me and said Ryan did you move the robot?I said I don't know.Then I heard a huge Roar.The older boy said Ryan come with us you have to fight the monster.I said but I don't know how! Leo said if you did move the Robot that means you have your powers back.I said wait what I have powers.The older boy I think his name is Mark I don't know I can't remember some stuff.Well he grabbed me and took me to the elevator and the rest followed us.Once we got up there Mark said this is where you fight the monsters and control the robot just step in this harness and connect yourself to the robot with your power.I said how do I do that? Mark said just focus on the robot and make it do what you want it to do. I said ok. So I focused on moving the Robot and I moved my hand the robot copied my movement.Leo yelled YES WE ARE BACK BABY!! I looked at him in confusion then Mark my older brother said almost but he is still a 9 year old.After that I jumped and went after the monster.I looked down and saw people running in fear. I looked up to see a huge monster I jumped and punched it, but it caught my hand and swung me into a big building.I got up and ran at the monster and hit it right in its back.It didn't melt into ooze instead it turned around and hit me in the face.I fell backwards.Then I said Spyder arm cannon.The blast hit the monster and it turned into the ooze.I went back to the junkyard but before I could I felt this tingling in me.When we got back to the junkyard I went to the med bay so Harris could scan me.He said your good but we need to get you back to normal.I said how are we going to do that.Leo said we do the same thing again ok let's try it.We went back to the RV and down to the machine.Leo put this cap thing on me then he ran back behind some glass where everybody else was.Leo called out to me and said are you ready Ryan?I said yes.Then he flipped a switch and lightning came down on the cap.After that happened the whole room started spinning so I sat down.Mark and everybody else came over to me.Mark said are you ok?I said I feel dizzy Leo looked at me he said guys it worked he is back to his 15 year old self but do you still have your powers?I said I think so.Mark said try sending me a text.I said ok and looked at his phone and said I feel like I'm going to faint!Mark heard a ding and looked at his phone he read it and looked at me.I fell right into Marks arms.Mark said to the others that he is going to take Ryan home.Mark took me home and put me in bed.Luckily mom wasn't home but she asked Seth to come over and check on us.Mark opened the door. Seth asked where is Ryan Mark said still sleeping what do you want?Seth said well I wanted to see if you boys were ok.Mark said I know what you're here to do and you're not going to do it.Seth said ok calm down buddy I'm just here to check on you guys for your mom.Mark was about to say something when we heard Ryan scream.I felt this weird tingling feeling again, then it went away and was replaced with pain in my head.I woke up to Mark coming in and surprisingly Seth came in my room also.I asked Mark why is Seth here?Mark said I'm still trying to figure that out as he looked at Seth.Then Mark asked me are you ok.I said yea I'm fine. I'm going to go back to bed because we school in the morning.Mark said ok then he looked at Seth and said ok we are obviously fine ok so goodnight.Seth said ok then went out the door,but before he left he made sure Mark went to his room to get some sleep.So I could sneak into Ryan's room to set a little metal thing right beside his bed.When I turned it on he held his head.After I did that I left the house.The next morning Ryan was laying in bed holding his head,he finally got up and got dressed.He went out to get some breakfast when he noticed Mark was still sleeping,he checked his watch and noticed it was 5:00 Am.So he let Mark sleep and decided to go back to his room,but when he did he heard this high pitched noise which made him walk out of his room before passing out on the couch from the high pitched noise from his room.Mark got up to go wake Ryan up,but when he opened the door Ryan wasn't there.He went out to get something to eat when he realized someone was on the couch.He went over and saw that Ryan was passed out on the couch.Mark tried to lightly shake him up,but he didn't wake up.So Mark got some water and splashed it in Ryan's face.Ryan shot awake.What was that for I said. Mark said to wake you up we have to go to school.I said ok I'll meet you in the car.Mark said ok then went back to his room to get ready and head to the car.When Mark left me I got up off the couch and went in my room to get my backpack.When I went in the high pitched noise was still there I fell to the floor holding my head,but I saw my backpack near where I was so I grabbed it and ran out of my room I closed and locked the door.When I got to Marks car I got in and waited for Mark to come out.Mark finally came out and we headed to school.When we got to school I got out and went to my locker.Harris and Spyder came over to me and said are you ok? I said yea I'm fine remember we beat traeger and saved the world.Then we went to our first class.The teacher was going over some notes then he let us loose to work on the lesson.I asked if I could go to the bathroom.When I got in there I looked at myself in the mirror.I heard this voice but I couldn't comprehend where it was coming from.Then I leaned against the sink and I saw this glowing blue and red stuff that was on my face ,it looked like the stuff was in my vains then the glowing blue and red stuff turned red.The voice got stronger and stronger.I held my head because it really hurt then all of a sudden all the lights started flickering on and off the bell rang for 2 period. I was soon on the floor holding my head the voice was really strong.My vision began blur and then it came back.The pain that I felt this morning came back even stronger.I couldn't hear or see anything now.I was in the corner of the bathroom on the floor.I was by a mirror I was able to get some of my vision back.When I looked in the mirror I saw my eyes were blue then they turned a glowing red color.Then the lights started flickering again and I saw traeger he said to me I now control your mind and your body and you will never gain control again!Then he grabbed me by the neck and lifted me up,I heard the door bang open and Mark,Harris and Spyder came in they all gasped at the sight.I tried to punch at his hand that was chocking me but he had too good of a grip on me.I was beginning to blackout when Mark kicked traeger.Trager looked at me he saw my eyes were red then he took his hand and put it on my forehead and said you will only hear my voice and I will take control.I said no you won't.He said it's too late Ryan I already have control.Then Mark saw traeger touching my forehead and knocked him out.The lights went out and all I could see was Mark,Harris,and Spyder before I fell unconscious on the floor in my brothers arms.
Mark pov: When we got home I took Ryan right to bed.After I put Ryan in his room I heard the door so I answered it and it was Seth then he asked where is Ryan I said still sleeping what do you want.Seth said well I wanted to see if you boys were ok.I said I know what you're here to do and you're not going to do it.Seth said ok calm down buddy I'm just here to check on you guys for your mom.I was about to say something when we heard Ryan scream.I ran in Ryan's room but surprisingly Seth followed me into Ryan's room.When I went in Ryan asked me why is Seth here? I saidI'm still trying to figure that out as he looked at Seth.Then I asked Ryan are you ok.He said yea I'm fine. He said I'm giving back to bed. I said ok goodnight then walked out of his room I said to Seth we are obviously fine ok so you can leave now.i watched Seth walk out the door then I went to bed.The next morning I woke up and went to get Ryan up but his door was locked so I decided to go get something to eat.When I went to go to the bar to eat my food I saw something or someone on the couch I went to see what was on the couch. When I went in front of the couch I was surprised to see Ryan passed out on the couch so I went over and I lightly tried to shake him awake that didn't work so I got a cup of cold water and threw it on him he jumped and said what was that for I said to wake you up we have school so get ready I'll meet you in the car.I usually have to wait for Ryan to come out but he was waiting for me to come out he was already in the car.So I got in the car and drove to school.We both went to our lockers I went to see my friends and headed to my first class.After a few minutes into the period I noticed the lights flickering and I asked the teacher if I could go to the bathroom.Once I got to the hallway I saw  Harris and Spyder I asked do you guys know where Ryan is.Harris said earlier in class Ryan asked to go to the bathroom and never came back.Ok so let's find Ryan once we went into the bathroom we saw Ryan being held in mid air and someone or something was choking him he was being to lose consciousness so I punched the thing and we all were able to see who it was.Ryan was dropped to the floor and I then turned and saw traeger touching Ryan's forehead I ran up and knocked traeger unconscious the lights went out but before they went out Ryan fell unconscious and was falling to the floor but before he could touch the ground I caught my baby brother. I turned to Harris and Spyder and we went out of the bathroom luckily all the classes were canceled because they couldn't get the power back on.We went to the Robot once we got there we went to the med bay and Harris scanned him and said he is fine but I don't know when he will wake up.I said traeger had to do something to him he was touching Ryans forehead.Harris said Mark I scanned him five times and well we thought traeger was dead but some how he is alive and wants Ryan.I looked at my brother and I said scan him one more time.Harris tried to argue with me but he knew he would lose and scanned Ryan.This time the scan didn't show anything it was blank Harris said there's nothing here.I sad that's impossible.No  Harris said it's not impossible ok anything can happen remember we are Mechx4! I said ok HARRY TELL ME WHY MY BABY BROTHER'S BRAIN IS BLANK!Spyder was just standing there and looked shocked so he left to go up to the X deck to get away from all this drama that was in the med bay.After Harris went to go find Leo to help him figure out what is wrong I just stayed with Ryan.I said to Ryan please wake up I don't know what I would do without you.Leo and Harris came in and Leo said let's see what we have uh oh this isn't good.I said well what is it.Leo said ok so what happened before you brought him here.I explained everything to him and he said ok so you said you knocked out traeger I said yes.Leo said ok then something came up on the scanner and it started flickering on and off then the whole Robot I looked at my baby brother and I saw bright red veins going all the way to his face where there were a lot more veins I said to Leo what is happening he said I don't know I've never seen this before.Harris said where is spyder? I said I don't know um I'll go look for him.I went to go to the elevator when something was thrown at me luckily I ducked in time.So I ran to the elevator I first went up to the control center/X deck once the elevator opened I stepped out and went to check the stations when I heard spyder talking to himself he said no one cares about me and everything has fallen apart and Ryan is never gonna wake up.Thats when I came out and said to him don't talk like that he will wake up and we do care about you spyder even when you get on my nerves.He said as soon as he turned to me how much did you hear.I said I heard enough of it.I then said come on let's go down and see how Harry and Leo are doing.He said ok and it's not Harry it's Harris as we go in the elevator and went down.Once we got there I asked Leo and Harry how Ryan was doing they said he still hasn't woken up but after you went to go see where spyder was me and Leo watched as Ryan turned back to normal then collapse to the floor but when we looked at the scanner there was some activity but it went away after he collapsed to the floor.I said ok so I'll stay here tonight and if he wakes up I will get Leo and call you. I was sleeping on the chair in the med bay when I felt something I opened my eyes and Ryan was awake he asked what happened then I said I'm hang on I'm going to get Leo he said ok so I got Leo and I called Harris.When I went into the room Ryan said Mark what happened I said we are still trying to figure that out Leo came in and scanned Ryan after he scanned him he got a really weird brain activity.Harris came in and said what's wrong Leo then said to him that Ryan's brain activity was really weird.I looked at the charts and then at my baby brother who had a smile on his face I said that is my brother but I don't believe it.When we got home Ryan went to his room I followed him but I stayed out in the hall I just listened to what he was saying to himself and what I heard concerned me and made chills go through me.After a while I went in and said Ryan time for dinner.Ryan just looked at me and said ok I'll be right down as he put a smile on his face but when I left the room I peaked back in and I saw his smile fade then he said no you won't then he said it's too late for you! I looked at his eyes they were glowing red instead of blue and the veins appeared again then he collapsed on his bed.After a few minutes he was up and he headed to the door so I ran down stairs to the kitchen and got out our dinner our mom left us.Then he came in and said nothing I decided to break the silence between us.I said so how are you feeling.He then said he was fine but I knew he was lying.I could feel that something was off but I didn't know what.After breakfast we went to school apparently they got the power back on.I got in the car with Ryan and went to school,when we got there we saw Harry and splyicer they asked how Ryan was I was going to say something until Wade came up to us Ryan slammed his locker shut then went up to wade and wade said hey little walker Ryan said wade please leave us alone I don't want a fight.Wade said oh so are you scared little Walker then he shoved Ryan and he fell to the floor then said you're weak little walker you can't even take down your own brother you're that pathetic then went to walk alway but Ryan got up and his eyes turned red then went after wade he started punching him but Wade slammed Ryan into the lockers but he flipped Wade so wades face was up against the lockers.I went over to try to get Ryan away from Wade but he turned around and punch me in the face after that I knew something was really wrong.The principal came up and gave Ryan a 4 week suspension.He just went to his locker and got his stuff then slammed it again.Ryan just turned and ran out of the school and slammed every door.After that I said to Harry and splicer that there is something really wrong about Ryan he would never act like that.Harris said after school we are going to figure out what is wrong with Ryan.
