Chapter 8 Trust and Regrets

Ryan's pov: I woke up in the robot I looked at Mark I asked what happened.Then he said just trying to figure that out.That scared me not knowing what was wrong with me just then I felt this presents but I shook it off.Then I felt something or someone grab me but I was in this dark room then I felt this power in me I didn't have control I saw my brother and he looked scared then I head this voice saying you will never see your brother again.I said to the voice you will not I will get back in control my body!The voice said good luck with that Ryan.I said how do you know my name?The voice said you know me already then there was a body forming in front of me I said TRAEGER!He just smiled at me then he said do you know where we are?I said yes we are in my head! He then said say goodbye to everyone you love!I yelled NOOOO! Then he disappeared.I just could only watch what he was doing and where we were.When we got home and went in my room I tried to take control again I got control for a little but before I could do anything he punched me and I went to the ground then he took back control I heard my brother say it's Time for dinner I said Mark help me I yelled but traeger said ok I'll be right down in a minute.Mark left and I was shattered he didn't care about me I knew it what a big brother I have the great Mark Walker always thinks of himself.We went down stairs to eat but when Mark looked at me he knew something was very wrong because I would never act like that in school. After I was done or traeger was done he went to my room and slammed the door.After traeger went to sleep I decided to gain some control for at least the night I snuck into Marks room and sent him a text but before I could send it traeger woke up and said OH NO YOU DONT RYAN! I said NO TRAEGER LEAVE ME ALONE!Then I screamed but I forgot I was still texting Mark and before I went unconscious I hit send Traeger yelled no then I thought I hope it worked then passed out on Marks floor with his phone in my hand.

Marks pov: I woke up to a ding on my phone but it wasn't where I left it on my bed stand.I was about to get out of bed when I saw Ryan unconscious on the floor near my bed and the door.I noticed he had my phone and it had a text from him on it in his hand.I picked up the phone and read it aloud because he was unconscious.OH NO YOU DONT RYAN! NO TRAEGER LEAVE ME ALONE!AAAAAAGGG h.e.l.p.........I covered my mouth and dropped my phone I looked at Ryan thinking Traeger took control of my brother but how.I Then pickled up my phone and called Harris and told him to come to my house ASAP.When Harris,splendor,and Leo got here I showed the the text Ryan sent me.Harris said Traeger but how I said I'm still trying to figure that out.Leo asked where is Ryan?I said he is on my floor unconscious.Harris said ok have you seen him acting really weird like what happened at school earlier today.I said no but he did have the red eyes when he was in his bedroom and he was talking to himself what he said scared me and concerned me at the same time.I then said his eyes also changed to red just like when he was fighting wade at school earlier today.Harris said that's weird how his eyes went from used to being blue when he used his powers to now they turn red but why.I said to Harris maybe because Traeger is CONTROLLING HIM!Harris just looked at me after my sudden outburst.Harris said ok just calm down we will figure a way to get him back but for now we have to deal with Traeger.I said ok you're right I'll go get Ryan.I walked into my room where Ryan was still unconscious thankfully he didn't wake up I grabbed him and went to the living room and put him on the couch Harris said ok now get something to tie him down I wanna wake him up I got some rope and tied my baby brother to the couch Harris slapped Ryan across the face I looked at Harris and he looked serious but Ryan didn't wake up I said let's try some cold water he said ok as I handed him the water he splashed the water in his face and his eyes opened we all stood still I said Ryan is that you or is it TRAEGER! I said angry at traeger he then said hey guys it's me Ryan I was able to gain control for only a little while Traeger is still unconscious Harris said Ryan are you ok he said yes but I don't know how to stop traeger or get him out of me I cannot stand what he is doing to me I don't know how much more I can take Harris said Ryan we are going to figure out how Traeger got in and we are going to try to get him out then Ryan said Guys if I don't make it I just want you to know I love you guys and Mark I'm sorry for what I put you through and not listening and trusting you.Please help me I don't know how much longer I can put up with Traeger then he just laid limp in my arms until his veins started to glow red and we all knew that Traeger took back control Harris said get ready we don't know what he will do I stepped back and Ryan was hovering over the couch I said guys maybe if I put my hand on Ryan's four head he will let me in it's worth a try Harris said.I walked up to Ryan and put my hand on his head and the next thing I know I was in a black room and I yelled Ryan are you here I got no response.Then I saw something on the ground immediately I yelled Ryan's name I ran over and he was beaten up really bad he coughed and he said Mark is that really you or is it one of YOUR STUPID TRICKS AGAIN TRAEGER! He yelled weakly then he said please be my brother I don't wanna be beaten again.I said Ryan it's me Mark he said yeah right if you are my brother say or do something that will convince me that it's not a trick again from Traeger.I said ok Ryan I will then I hugged him like I did when he had nightmares he tried to hug me back but because of how badly traeger had beaten him he wasn't able to he said I'm sorry I said Ryan you don't have to be just hang in there then Traeger came and I spoke into my mech link NOW HARRIS.Harris pushed the button and Traeger said what did you do to me I said we took you down with science I then watched him as he disappeared he said I will come back and you all will listen to me!He was gone but when I turned to Ryan he was on the floor struggling to stay awake I said Harris can you bring us back I had ahold of Ryan and said it's over Ryan it's all over.Once I came back to consciousness I ran over to Ryan he was covered with bruises and his face was swelled from punches and he had a black eye.I asked Harris if he woke up yet or not he said it might be a while until he does because of what Traeger did to him.I said ok then sat down next to Ryan.I grabbed his hand and squeezed it after that Ryan opened his good eye and said in a really raspy voice Mark is it over?I looked at my baby brother and said yes Ryan it's all over.Then he said Mark how are we gonna explain this to mom?I said don't worry I will figure something out and in the meantime you rest up you were beaten really bad.He said it was like a never ending cycle and I couldn't escape.What happened at school I don't know what came over me.I said that wasn't you that was all Traeger because when you turned and punched me in the face I knew something was really wrong.I then said I'm going out to the chill room and try to figure out how to explain all this to mom when she gets home.He said ok then I just sat there until he fell asleep.I got up and met Harris,Spyder,and Leo they all were going to help me figure out what to explain to our mom.Harris said why don't you say he got beat up by Wade I said no because he got suspended because he fought Wade and actually won but that was Traeger not Ryan.He said ok so why don't you say he got beat up by some other bullies at the skate park.I said that's a great idea after I said that the lights started flashing and the Robot was moving.Um Harris did we just take off ?He said yea but Ryan is in the med bay sleeping.Spyder where is Spyder I said he better not have done anything stupid!We ran into the med bay and Ryan was hovering over the bed I said to Harry and Leo is that supposed to happen NO!They both shouted ok I said but what does it mean?They said they don't know we have to wake him up Mark Harris shouts at me I said ok.I went over to Ryan and said hey Ryan it's me Mark you're brother can you please wake up.Ryan was still hovering but he must have heard me because he was starting to calm down but the Robot moved.There was a huge spark when I touched Ryan then the Robot fell on its side we all crashed into the wall except for Ryan who was still floating in the air.I crawled my way to where I could jump on my brother and when I did we both fell to the ground I said Ryan please wake up as I put my hand on his forehead.Its ok nothing can hurt you now it's all over it's all over.Then all of a sudden the lights flickered again and we were moving again but Ryan was in my arms limp.Just then Spyder said guys you need to come to the control center like now!We all went up I was holding Ryan in my arms Spyder said look at the window we all looked to the big huge window and saw a huge monster just ripping stuff apart like in half then all of a sudden the Robot picked up his arm and shot torpedos at the monster and it turned to ooze.Then it turned to the head where we all were and shot one at us.Ryan was still limp in my arms I started shaking Ryan awake and yelling at him RYAN STOP SHOOTING TORPEDOES!!Then It stopped but the hand got closer until it broke the window I looked at my brother then at Harris,Spyder and Leo the hand got closer to me but the farther I backed up the closer it came I said guys can you help me here they tried to pull it away but it wouldn't it kept coming for me.Ryan rolled on his side but it didn't stop the hand it grabbed me when I had ahold of Ryan it then pulled us out of the head. We were on it's hand it closed it and shook it causing me to drop Ryan I yelled RYAN WAKE UP RYANNN!! I watched him fall luckily he landed in the grass when he hit the ground I was shattered what if he's dead but all my thoughts stopped when the hand tried to suffocate me but I could see my brother from a crack in the hand that wasn't closed I saw him open his eyes and I saw Harper in the distance looking at Ryan with evil eyes. I held my breath because there wasn't really any air in this hand that I was trapped in my vision was being taken over slowly with darkness when I saw the hand open and lower me down to the ground then I saw Ryans face until I was completely consumed in darkness.
