Chapter 5

    I lay there with this chain attached to my neck. Then I hear someone coming in. Quaren opens the door and walks in. He's holding a plate with bread. He walks to me and kneels down and says, "Don't want you to starve but I don't want to feed you to much." He sets the plate down in front of me. He smiles and ushers me to eat it. All I do is sit there and do nothing. I'm not even going to look at him or the food. "I'm not hungry." I say softly. He look at me and grabs my chin like last time. "EAT, I don't want you starving to death on me." He says with that flirty tone agien. "I'd rather starve than eat that. Especially if it's from you." I say with my sassy mouth. Quaren just gets up and leaves. Luckily I'm all alone.
    I'm lucky to be by the nightstand. Because inside it is a scull key. It opens every lock. So I get in the droor and grab the key. I unlock the chain around my neck and I go to the window quietly. I open it and jump out. I ran to the balcony and jumped down to it.
    Great there's soldiers. "HEY!! Your not supposed to be out of your room." They say as they start to run after me. I hurry and jump off the balcony and hit the ground. I run as fast as I can to the woods. Then when I start to think about Kilan, he must of got caught, he must be in the castles dungeon. I run in that direction. Hopefully I can take out the guards. I get there and luckily there's only two. I make my move and take out both of them. I run down with my scull key and I find the cell Kilan's in. I open it and go and unchain him. "Hurry before the guards wake up.." I say to him. "Gotchya" he says following me. We both make it out and we run into the woods agien. Kilan said to follow him to a better place were none of the soldiers could find us. It was the rock I found Kilan. He moved the bolder and we scurried inside. "We should be safe here for a while." Kilan says as he hugs me.

I surly was safe with him.
