Ginny's Point of View

I couldn't sleep at all the next week knowing that my sister was carrying around a piece of Voldemort's soul. And there's the strange shadow boy who comes into our dorm every night. He doesn't talk, grab anything or try to hurt any of us. He only watches Lottie sleep.
When Lottie is whimpering in her sleep or keeps moving around mumbling this and looking pale, he comforts her. He sits on her bed whispering relaxing things to her while stroking her hair. Surprisingly she relaxes into him, like she feels safe around him. She melts right next to him like he is some sort of guardian angel. Although I just have a bad feeling about him. He has a dark vibe, a dangerous aura around him. Not to mention that whenever he's there it smells like death. It doesn't help that Lottie is always writing in her diary, writing to Tom Riddle. To Voldemort. I can't get it away from her.
Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, Harry is the most feared and hated person in Hogwarts. People actually believe that he is the Heir of Slytherin. What a bunch of idiots. Lottie seems to wonder around Hogwarts a lot lately. mostly at noon or night. I always try to follow her but end up losing her half way.

As I was walking down the corridors I bumped into someone.
"I am so sorry! Luna?" I quickly grabbed her things that fell and gave them to her.
"Thank you." She responded politely. My heart leaped. Before she turned and walked away I called out.
"Wait!" I said. I though this is the time I am gonna get some answers.
"What?" she snapped annoyed and obviously wanting to leave already. I really wanted to ask why she stopped being my friend, but I was more scared about Lottie.
"Have you been noticing anything odd about Lottie lately? How she is always writing in that diary every minute of every day? How she goes pale or defensive if someone brings it up?" I asked nervously. I had an idea why she did, but I wanted to see what her friends thought. Luna stays silent for a moment, probably thinking about it all.
"Yes I have noticed it, but that's none of your business, it's hers. If you have any questions ask her yourself. Don't go behind your sister's back to get answers" She snapped before walking away.
I felt several tears leaking from my eyes as I began to walk back to the common room.
As I was walking I saw a huge crowd looking a something, I couldn't see it. I pushed my way closer to see Harry, Ron and Hermione right in front of Filch's cat that looked dead. It was hanging from its tail on a torch.
My heart stopped when I saw the message on the wall. Harry, Ron, and Hermione were currently talking to Filch, Snape, McGonagall and Dumbledore. I looked around to see everyone's looking scared, confused, or worried. Every single one of them but Lottie. My blood ran cold when I saw the evil smirk on her face, and in her hands, that damn diary.
