Ginny's Point of View
Professor Dumbledore had Arty and I stay up in his office as he and Professor McGonagall went to go investigate.
"How did this happen?" I asked, crying a little as I sat down on one of the steps. Arty sat next to me and hugged me.
"I don't know." He mumbled. Suddenly the fireplace roared to life as a beautiful woman with dark curly hair and multicolored eyes walked out of it and into the room.
"Mum!" Arty said, jumping up to go and hug her.
"Arty? What are you doing up here?" Mrs. Scamander asked.
"We took the diary to Dumbledore like you said, but Ginny's sister was taken into the Chamber of Secrets." Arty explained. Mrs. Scamander looked at me and walked over, giving me a big hug.
"I'm so sorry honey." She said softly. "I'll tell you what, I'll sit here and wait with you. Okay?" She asked as she sat next to me. I nodded and leaned against her, falling asleep.
