A little girl with red hair, blue eyes, and tons of freckles sat on a seat in a subway car. She wore a dress with sunflowers on it and had a cast on her left arm. Although she was covered in bruises and appeared to be alone, she had the brightest smile of anyone on the train. Next to her was a large guy wearing black. And even thought they were underground he was wearing sunglasses.
'What do you do mister?' She asked looking up at him. The man looked at her, took off his sunglasses, and crouched down to her level,
'I make bad people go away.'
'Does that mean you are going to make my mommy and daddy go away' she asked her smile faded and was replaced by something darker.
'Are your mommy and daddy bad people' inquired the man in black.
'They hit me a lot and that is how I got this broken arm' whispered the little girl as she looked down. Her eyes started to shine and her hands were shaking.
'Then yes Sweetheart, I will make them go away if you want me to' responded the man gently. 'What's your name?'
'Zoe' whispered the girl in a small voice.
'Well Zoe you will be safe soon where do you live?' Zoe have the man her address and he promised to take care of her parents that night.
Later that night the man in black stood outside the little girls house. He silently opened the unlocked door and crept into the quiet house. He looked through the rooms until he found the little girl's room. He walked in and knelt by her bed.
'Zoe' he said in a low tone 'wake up I need to get you out of here before I take care of your parents'
'What?' She answered sleepily sitting up and rubbing her eyes. 'MISTER!' She exclaimed throwing her arms around his neck even though she barely knew him. He grabbed some clothes for her from her drawers and stuffed them in one of the two bags he brought with him. Then he scooped up the girl and carried her out of the house as she curled against him. He set in his car and buckled her seat belt.
'I will be right back Zo' he said.
     'Ok mister,' she answered.
'You know my name is Brandon' chuckled the man in black.
'Ok then ok Brandon' amended Zoe sassily.
Brandon walked back to the house still laughing about what the little red head had just said. When he got in the house he found the parents' bedroom and tied them up. He woke them up my punching them repeatedly in the face while saying, 'How dare you hurt that sweet adorable little girl. You two are monsters and deserve to be sent back to hell where you belong.'  Then when almost knocked them unconscious but not quite, he pulled out a knife heated it up using a lighter. Then he stabbed the each with it, once in each limb. Since the knife was hot it immediately cauterized the wounds which caused them lots of pain and kept them from bleeding out. When Brandon was done he doused them and the room surrounding them on fire. He walked out feeling satisfied that they would never hurt Zoe or anyone ever again.
The authorities assumed that Zoe had died in the fire along with her parents. Brandon taught Zoe how to fight and protect herself but he also taught her to be kind and nice to others. He raised her as if she was his own child and in a way, she was. Zoe grew up to become an assassin like Brandon but instead of killing for money, she killed abusive parents, husbands, child molesters, kidnappers, rapists, and other terrible evil people that hurt others. She protected those that couldn't protect themselves and she was proud of it. The authorities knew who she was and what she was but ironically they never caught her (wink wink). The case files on her always seamed to get lost along with any and all evidence. And that children, is the story of Zoe Rebecca Blackwood, the kindest Assassin that was never caught.
