Chapter four : You fell off the sofa

"So you are a pureblood."

Jungkook huffed out a sigh at what Taehyung just said and leaned back onto the sofa, lying on it lazily. He nodded, and said, "You are a half-blood? Am I correct?"

Taehyung muttered out a 'yes', then took the packet of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans that is lying on the sofa, took out one single bean and carefully examined it, "Jungkook, do you think this is a chocolate flavoured bean?" Jungkook leaned closer to Taehyung as he too, carefully examined it.

Jimin, who has been eyeing the two from when they bought the packet of beans, is extremely confused at their behavior, why are they so carefully examining it when they are supposed to be edible candies?

"Hey, you two are being ridiculous, they are just candies, why are you examining them like they are poisoned?"

Jungkook and Taehyung both looked at Jimin with wide eyes, and pounced. Yes, pounced, right onto Jimin.

"Jimin," Taehyung looks into Jimin in a dead serious expression. "When they say every flavor, they really mean it. I once ate an ear wax flavoured one." Jungkook followed, "Yes, And I once ate a rust flavoured one."

Jimin made a disgusted face hearing the flavours mentioned, and said, "You guys are not kidding, right?" Both boys in front of him shook their heads. Shit, they are dead serious.

"Wait," Jungkook suddenly says, "Jimin, how can you not know about the every flavor beans?" Taehyung, who has already resumed his examination with the beans explained for his friend, "Well you know, our Jiminie here is a muggle-born."

Jungkook is still confused, because the pair had said they are best friends and had known they are wizards ever since they were young, so even though Jimin comes from a muggle family, Taehyung, who is a half-blood must have some at home and let Jimin tried it. Weird.

Taehyung, who seems to understand Jungkook's racing mind, said, "Guess what, my dad once ate a poop flavoured one, and developed a phobia against it. So my house doesn't have any flavoured beans. Surely, I have eaten those when our family visit some of my dad's friends who got kids, but just never at home, so that's why whenever Jimin come over to my home he can't try them."

Jungkook nodded along, "I see, so Jimin, know anything about our world yet?" Jimin then said excitedly, "Of course! I have read as many reference books I could read during the summer after I have received the letter!"

"Are you serious, you read books during summer, a holiday for you to relax?" Jungkook exclaimed, looking horrified.

"Jungkook, never compare yourself with Jimin when it comes to academics, it will just make you look bad." Taehyung stated.

Laughing, Jungkook said, "A Ravenclaw then?"

Taehyung thought for a while before replying, "I think so, but maybe also Hufflepuff. Jimin is a real nice guy." With that, Taehyung ruffled Jimin's hair playfully. Jimin whined but didn't stop Taehyung's hands which are now starting to stroke his dark black hair.

They continued their conversation about some random stuff, and then Taehyung and Jungkook started a game of magic chess. Taehyung lost to Jungkook and dragged Jimin to his seat ( whom Taehyung has lost to for all matched of chess throughout his entire life. ) and asked him to help him revenge. During the game, Jimin made a conclusion that their new friend is a cheeky little shit, before meeting Jungkook, he already knew about magic chess, but he really didn't know that he can play it the way Jungkook did.

"Queen, A5!" Jimin commanded frustratingly. "You better comply or else." He added.

Jungkook , who is sitting in front of him, just smirked. Then, before the Queen could move, he unbuttoned his shirt even more, leaving only one button on and winked in the most flirty way Jimin has seen in his whole life to his Queen piece. "Listen, queen, if you don't move, how about we spend an entire night on the astronomy tower and look at the stars in the skies that shines as bright as you?"
