Chapter 3: Heavy luggage starts friendships

"Now dear, be good and have fun at Hogwarts!" Mrs Kim said while kissing Taehyung all over his face. Although Jimin's parents are also sort of the touchy type, Jimin will never know how Taehyung can remain so calm after his mum bear hugs him and kiss him for ten minutes straight (not kidding).

"Ok, Jimin honey, I trust that you will be good, send some letters to us frequently, alright? We don't want to miss out what our little wizard is seeing." Jimin's father says as he ruffled Jimin's hair. Jimin's mum added, "Yea, Jiminie, tell us anything, anything from when did you drink water to your love life."

Jimin playfully hit his mum as he whined, "Mum! You are embarrassing!" His mother just chuckled, "As your mother, I need to know when my son gets all mushy and shy and flustered, aww, just think of our Jiminie, honey, looking so cute. Anyway, better get yourself a boyfriend before you come back."

Jimin rolled his eyes and say, "I'm not talking to you anymore, mum!" His parents just laughed, loving how their son always gets all embarrassed and shy once his love life is mentioned.

Jimin is really thankful for having this pair of amazing parents. They accepted Jimin for being gay as wonderfully as one could imagine. Jimin came out to them just before his fourteen birthday, and his parents just replied him with a "We know, Jiminie."

Jimin was shocked, he thought his parents, as wonderful they are, will still need to take a moment to take in the fact that their son is gay. And when he asked why they knew, they replied as if it's the most obvious question in the whole world, "Jimin, as soon as we saw you blushing when another boy accidentally touched your hand, and also you didn't talk about any girls at all, we already knew you are gay. And we are happy for you, Jiminie, we support you no matter what happens, and who are you."

Jimin had a full break down that night and cried until he exhausted himself.

"Now, go join Taehyung and learn magic so you can be the cute little show-off once you get home!" His father said pointing to where Taehyung is. Jimin nodded happily, got ahold of the trolley and pushed it to where Taehyung is.

Taehyung waved a goodbye to his parents once he saw Jimin approaching, and pushed his trolley along with Jimin. He laughed as he saw Jimin literally skipping beside him, "Excited?"

Jimin turned to Taehyung, "Are you kidding, how can I not be excited when I am going to Hogwarts, going to see wizards doing all the amazing things and learning spells myself?"

Taehyung replied, "Jimin, its not just about learning spells, you know? There is still history of magic, and not to mention, learning how to fly a broom – "

"I know, Taehyungie, I have read all our textbooks already!" Jimin exclaimed. Taehyung shook his head, how can he forget the fact that his best friend is a staright A and hard-working student?

"And about learning how to fly a broom, I am really interested, you know. I read in one of the books I bought for background reading, I think its called Quidditch through the Ages, that balance is what makes a good quidditch playler. And you see, here, my arm muscles? I am strong, Tae, I can literally lock you in a headlock right now."

Taehyung immediately put his hands in the air as he said, "Yes, yes I know, no need to get all physical here, Jiminie."

They talked and laughed as they walk towards the area between platform nine and platform ten.

"So here is where we get to the legendary platform nine and three quarters, right?" Taehyung nodded his head in confirmation, "Yep, that's right. Now according to what my father told me, all we need to do is walk staright into this wall, focus, concentrate hard, and before we know it, we will be on platform nine and three quarters safe and sound." Jimin nodded along what Taehyung said.
