The pain he felt was unimaginable.

He stood among the graves, counting each one over and over, still in denial of the deaths.

Leo Valdez died because of him.
Jason Grace,
Piper McLean,
Hazel Levesque,
Frank Zhang.
They all died because of him.
And the worst of all, Annabeth Chase.

She had died because he couldn't get there in time, she died because of him.

He couldn't help but let the guilt eat him alive. He couldn't move, couldn't eat, and yet he sat there still breathing.

He didn't deserve to live. He killed her. He left her to die.

Sobs wracked his body as he laid a hand on her grave.

"I'm sorry! I wasn't there to protect you, Gods, I'm so sorry!" He yelled.

"Damn it!" He yelled once more, turning to punch a statue. He watched as it cracked. Just as his soul had broke and shattered for the loss of his beloved.

His body began to shake violently with sobs as he slowly sank to the ground, continuously muttering 'I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.'

"Hey." Someone has whispered. Yet he heard her.

Percy's breath hitched and he stopped crying immediately, but the tears continued to run down his face. Wiping them of his checks he quickly turned to the voice.

A young lady turned to him, she had red hair, and startling blue eyes that held intelligence that he thought only his wise- girl could have held.

"What?" He whispered loud enough for her to hear.

Clearing her throat she spoke, "Look, kid, I'm sorry for your loss, but my boss would like to speak with you."

"What for?" He said through gritted teeth. He's had enough with the fights, the wars.

"He believes you are a terrorist. Come with me peacefully and prove him wrong." She said, she didn't want to hide anything from him, in fact, she didn't feel the need to.

"Tsk. Tell him I said no." He said turning in the process.

"Come on kid I'll be forced to take you forcefully if I can't willingly bring you in." She said desperation laced in her voice.

"No." He said as he continued walking.

"Clint!" She yelled quickly.

Percy heard the light 'whoosh' of an arrow, then a prick of pain in his leg. He looked down only to realize someone had just tranquilized him.

"When will it stop?" He questioned himself.

Percy pulled out the arrow and broke it in half, shocking himself in the process, to find that it was metal.

Percy quickly hid his shock and turned to the woman.

"You're kidding me right. This is all you could do?" He asked.

"What?" She whispered. When people were shot with Clint's tranquilizer, they would immediately pass out. He was still standing, acting as though nobody just shot him.

"So you wanted a fight? You'll get one." He growled.

Percy pulled out his pen and watched as she looked on with confusion. He uncapped the pen, expecting her to see a bat of some sort only to see her face morph into shock to the realization of what weapon he carried.

"You carry a sword around everywhere you go?" She asked.

"No. It's a pen." He answered. He'd begun to feel slightly dizzy.

"Last chance. I don't want a fight either, so continue on along with the rest of your crew, especially the one in the tree. Tell your boss I said no, to stop looking for me." He said.

Percy began to feel worse, he'd began to see two versions of the young lady. That wasn't good, so he tried to leave.

Percy turned once again to leave only to find a patriotic flag behind him, his hand raised for an immediate punch to the temple, knocking him out.

Everything went black.
