Everyone knows that first day of high school can be stressful when you don't know anyone. I was one of those kids. I was quite shy and rarely spoke to anyone. By the way my names Lola Fenix. I'm now 15 but I was 12 in the story I'm about to tell you
Sitting in that massive assembly hall made me feel like I was an ant. A small helpless ant. I sat through the assembly not saying a word to anyone. But when the assembly finished, I tried to run but loads of older kids were rushing past me. I waited for the queue to go down but that was a bad idea as I got knocked over by a yr11. But then I suddenly felt a tap on my shaking shoulder. I slowly turned around to notice a tall blonde haired boy with glasses standing behind me. 'Hey, what's up?' He asked me, putting out a hand to help me up. 'Nothing really...' I replied, grabbing his hand and standing on my feet. I looked at the floor awkwardly and walked with him to lesson. 'My names Rafael by the way nice to meet you.' The kid said, putting out his hand. 'My names Lola, nice to meet you too Rafael.' I replied, giving him a handshake. 'Soo what lesson have you got Lola?' Rafael asked me, nudging my arm. 'Ive got English with Miss Hawktree.' I shyly responded to him. 'Me too!' said Rafael.
