explanation:
i know this story is a little bit confusing i guess HAHA. so first of all, donghyuk is not related to jinhwan and to the other ikon members that's why the boys didn't know donghyuk well, they just know him as an intelligent student in the university. in their school, there are two KIM JAY. the kim jay no. 1 is their classmate and another kim jay is jinhwan. donghyuk just uses kim jay no. 1 as an excuse to tell his feelings for jinhwan. they become friends and so on.
