Next day

Pratap was in deep sleep as he slept late and had few drinks in party...he was in no mood to wake up but was forced to wake as someone shook him with force....he lightly opened his eyes and immediately closed them as sunrays were directly hitting his face....He slowly got adjusted to it and opened his eyes completely only to get shocked as nandu was standing infront of him with her arms crossed on her chest and glaring him angrily....he got confused by her expression and scanned her face for any indication when his eyes fell on her hand which had his diary and he fell off from bed as he was sleeping on edge...he winced in pain as his back got ache and slowly stood up with the help of nandu who was startled by his act....she made him sit on bed and picked up diary which she left in shock when he fell down....she asked him to freshen up and left his room....he recovered from his shock and went to finish his chores unaware of time....he came out of washroom and saw nandu arranging lunch for two people...he frowned at dishes and looked at clock only to get surprised as it was past 2...

Pratap(shocked):nanduu !!! You didn't had your lunch ??

Nandu(angrily):you didn't even had your dinner lastnight and breakfast today....I waited for you to wake up but you were not at all responding to my calls....infact you locked your room....thankgod !! We had extra key of your room and I was able to enter inside....now come and eat....I have been waiting for you !!

Pratap quietly walked near couch and settled infront of nandu....both had their lunch in silence and nandu cleaned the place....she returned back to his room and found him sitting on bed and staring at diary in his hands....she locked the room and settled beside him....

Pratap:sab kahan hai ??

Nandu:apne apne rooms mein packing kar rahe hai....we are leaving tonight...meri pag pheri mom yahin karna chahti thi issliye manik mujhe chodke chale gaye as he had some work over here....I was waiting for you in living room but you didn't come...having no other option I reached your room and found you hugging this diary.....I had no intention in reading it but felt an urge to read it and now I don't know what I should actually do as I am in a dilemma....

Pratap:Tu chahe toh you can stop talking to me and break all relations with me....it will be between us and if you want you can give me any punishment....

Nandu:I want to know what happened after mom dad marriage....I believe you Were no where involved in it but for that I need entire truth....who was behind mom dad death !!

Pratap took a deep breath and nodded in agreement....

Everything was going on smooth after few months as papa got busy in his illegal business and I started to take over our actual business....I was confident enough to oppose my dad that I will not join his illegal business....he accepted it and didn't forced me....it was a little difficult for me to stay without swara but slowly got habituated to that life....it was an year of their marriage and I was not ready to get married...it was that time when dhruv's mother entered into my life....her name was pankhudi dutta !! My mom arranged that match for me and I met her for the first time at her house....she was soo beautiful but her beauty was not the thing which attracted me but her eyes which were just like swara ones....they were speaking volumes....and I couldn't say no to our wedding....it happened....she was the first one apart from me who read this diary and not for once questioned me...infact she accepted me the way I am...she made my life the same way it was when swara was in my life....I never realised how much deep I fell in love with her until she and me became us....dhruv was the symbol of our love and may be that was the thing which made her to hide her pregnancy complications from me and she gave birth to dhruv....I was devastated and in a deep need of my bestfriend but can't contact her as I can't risk her life....I left dhruv with my parents and left India as he reminded me of her....our 1 year of married life was a bliss where she made herself my world and pushed me in darkness with her absence....I regretted leaving dhruv with my parents few months back when I came to know about his deeds but was unaware of the girl....again I missed the fact that he was in the same college where my life changed from worst to best....same happened with him...that mistake was his last mistake....I thought that swara was in newyork only but she shifted to India....she made sure to never face media yet my father saw her in a party where he attended instead of me....If only if I attended it then maybe your mother would have been alive...I thought he forgot everything but he was waiting to know her address....he saw her all happy and leading a peaceful life...he felt her to be the reason of my destroyed life when the truth is that his sins are the reason of my this life....he couldn't handle her happy life and swara was unaware of this as she never saw my father...infact she even interacted with him while she was introduced to him....he planned their murder many times but failed as Raj protected them but circumstances were not in their favor and raj lost his elder brother....my father sensed it as a perfect opportunity as raj was in deep emotions and he succeeded this time....I got to know about their death through media and confronted my dad who said that he did all these for me....I couldn't take anymore and blamed him for all the wrong things in my life...infact I even told him how his sins made my life like this....I declared him dead in my life and he got paralysed....I should have started caring for dhruv but went into complete darkness as till now I was in a hope that swara is somewhere happy but this news killed me mentally....I left everyone and started to do business and earn money as that was the only thing which helped me to survive....dhruv having no guidance of a man in his life and my dad genes in his blood destroyed him but you were an angel in his life as the way manik loved you and took care of you somewhere affected him....he reached me as for the first time in his life he felt the need to reach me when he is in a mess as like always my call or my money couldn't save him... Ofcourse Malhotra's power was too big and no one can overpower them....years later today when I saw Raj in your receptiom party I got to know that you are alive....I was soo happy and couldn't even comprehend what to do...so I just left the party....you might have a doubt that why I didn't recognise nyonika then I never saw her and she never came infront of media....

He released a breath of relief and faced nandu to see her reaction but she is just staring the floor without any reaction....he waited for her reaction but they were disturbed by a knock on door....pratap opened the door and priya entered inside while talking....

Priya:uffoo !! Tum dono ke baatein khatam nahin huye kya bhai ?? Manik aaya hua hain neeche aur wait kar raha hai...we will meet in airport na....nandu !! Jaa beta...jaldi jaake apna luggage pack kar..nyo ne kahan ki usne kardi but tu bhi ek baar check karle aur fresh hoja...

Nandu nodded and left the room while pratap fell on bed with a thud as priya too left behind nandu to give gifts for Malhotra's as per tradition !!
