I'm sorry for not updating this story that much! I really am. I'm like ridiculously busy with Darkness and Lightness (which got 1000+ reads! WTF?!) And this is kinda taking a backseat to DAK, because DAK is in the Watty Awards and yada yada yada! But here's a new chapter for anyone who cares? XD

Zella's POV

Laurence pulled me onto the couch, and looked into my eyes severely. "What are we?" he asked, staring me down with his gorgeous eyes.

I stuttered, unable to speak as I thought about what we really were. I had loved him forever, then slept with him, the rejected him, and all the while, he had loved me back. We sounded like some terrible sitcom where everyone knew we would end up together.

Suddenly I blurted out what came to mind. "We are a plotless sitcom!" I said, suddenly covering my mouth and blushing from head to toe. Laurence laughed hysterically, and then pulled me against him. I felt the gentle rumbling in his chest as he held me tighter against him, and I giggled with him.

Then he asked me another question, this time a bit more straight-forward. "Will you be my girlfriend, Zella?"

I blushed again, looking at my nude flats and turning a deep shade of pink. I nodded gently, but the opened my mouth quickly and cut Laurence off before he said anything. "But no one knows ANYTHING about this, alright?" I hissed. He looked hurt as told him that, then he sighed.

"I suppose I understand," he said sadly.

I suddenly felt a pang of guilt. I was keeping our relationship from the world because I was embarrassed to be seen with Laurence. I mean, we were polar opposites. I was warm and fluffy and pink all over, and he was pretty cold-hearted and tough around other people. We didn't seem like a couple that would or COULD match together.

His body was basically coated in tattoos, and as sexy as I found that to be, other people might not like the fact that someone as "gentle" as me could be with someone as "harsh" as Laurence was.

But quite honestly, I didn't really give a flying fuck what anyone else thought. The problem was my parents. They wouldn't approve, and quite honestly, neither would my teachers.

"No one will understand, love," I whispered. "How we could love each other. You know?"

Laurence grabbed my hands and looked into my eyes excitedly. "I have an idea, princess!" he exclaimed.

I grinned, "What?"

He smiled back at we, then whispered. "We run away together."

My eyes got as big as plates and my mouth dropped open. "We what?!"

"Run!" Laurence exclaimed. "You leave notes for your parents, and tell them we're leaving!"

I stumbled over my words. "B-but.... w-we... I.... We're... The cops... the cops will chase us!"

He smiled from ear to ear again. "They can't chase us! We're both legally adults! No one can stop us."

I looked down astmy nude ballets again. Down at my goody-two shoes. Then my head shot up, and a look entered my eyes that no one had ever seen, and a fire blazed in my soul.

"Let's do it," I whispered.

My rebellious side had emerged after all.

Here's chapter 3! Like I said, sorry for not updating more. :/ But this chapter was fun to write and I promise to try and update twice a week. There's another picture of Laurence. ---->
