Hide n' Seek and Friendship

So if anyone, who's read this before, wondering where 'Hide and Seek gone wrong' has gone, i've basically just combined these two chapters.

We played on the beach for hours, we laughed and played in the sand and the sea. We had so much fun. I couldn't believe that I had such good friends. So I turned my back because we were playing hide and seek. Jasmine pattered past me and I heard Charley giggling close to me. 

"28, 29, 30, here I come ready or not!" I called out. Luckily I found Charley almost instantly, I just followed her familiar laugh. "Ahh you found me, I couldn't stop laughing!" She said whilst giggling. Charley stood up from the corner she was hiding in and followed me around like a lost puppy dog. Soon after I found Jasmine clambering over a wall trying to hide. She slipped and grazed her knee.

"Ouch!" Cried Jasmine as I bathed her cut in the salty sea water.

"Where's Scott?" Charley asked.

"Erm I saw him dive into the sea, but I didn't see him after that." Replied Jasmine. My whole body suddenly filled with fear and I could tell the same happened to the others. We ran up to where the water lapped against the shore. Next I started wading into the salty ocean, my whole body used all its strength to pull my body through as fast as I could so I could try and get as far out as possible without drowning.

"Scott!" We all shouted. "Where have you gone?" A sudden crash of lighting appeared in the sky and the clouds turned black. People hurried off the beach and we started to panic more.

"Come on, this isn't funny anymore. It's going to rain!" I felt a splash of water on my face, I looked up to the sky and I could see that it was raining, heavily. Dark black, murky clouds spilled out icy rainwater soaking the beach instantly making the sand easier to walk on. People looked at us like we were mental, running around on the beach in the pouring rain. I walked out the water and paced up and down. Suddenly I felt something touch my foot. It was Scott climbing out of the water, he collapsed on the beach, struggling for breath. We all dropped to floor helping him out of the water him and hugging him.

"What were you thinking!?" I cried.

"I don't know, but I could see something in the distance, an island. I wanted to go and see what it was, but the current decided otherwise. Soon I got dragged under, I barely made it to the shore." Said Scott whilst gasping for breath. We picked up Scott and walked back to Jasmine's because hers is the closest.

Jasmine lives in a big 18th century house along the sea front. Jasmine's mum is a happy cheery woman, just like Jasmine, her hair was jet black and an almost permanent smile (just reminds me of Coraline) was pasted on her face. She was at the door to greet us. She offered us hot chocolates and towels to dry ourselves and hair. Jasmine put on the Hunger Games and we all sat on the floor drinking hot chocolate, dried our hair and watched the film. The past hour had just been forgotten, the whole Scott situation. Jasmine's two cats came and sat with us - Jinx and Monkey. One was black and white and the other was tabby. Another hour passed and Scott was feeling a lot better. He was laid on the sofa curled up in a blanket. The girls had let their hair dry naturally which made their hair look messy, but nice. They both had taken off any make up and put on fluffy socks. My hair was in a big mess and I tried to sort it out but Jasmine just said leave it. I had taken off the hoodie I was wearing and was laid on the floor watching the film. I love doing this sort of thing with my friends. Just be relaxed and not bother about appearance. For a while, I forgot about Luna. I was too busy being with my friends.

The film finished, Jasmines mum brought in some snacks and we all swarmed around the snacks like we hadn't been fed in days. Charley suggested watching a horror movie, we all agreed, we chose Mama. We all hid behind cushions on any scary parts and then grabbed onto each other on jump scares. It was 7:30pm when the film finished. I realised I had been gone all day, and I had just left a note for my mum. I said I really needed to get back home and Scott agreed and came with me. We said bye and hugged each other as we left.

We walked out into the damp air - it had stopped raining - and pavements. We chatted until we had to part, which was on a corner near my house. I walked into my house, my mother frantically fussing over me as I walked through the door.

"Where have you been all day!?" Said mum sternly

"I left a note - I was out with Charley, Jasmine and Scott. We were fine don't worry!" I said

"Sorry I was just worried. Tea?"

"I ate at Jasmines, so no thanks."

"Ok and by the way...a girl called Luna was at the door asking for you." Said mum whilst walking back into the kitchen. What would she want with me? I spoke to her once. I decided to walk over to Luna's. When I knocked on the door Luna's mum greeted me, and I asked for Luna. "Luna!" Shouted Luna's mum "There's a lovely boy here to see you!"

"Mum!" Said Luna whilst walking down the stairs "Hi" She said whilst smiling at me.

"Hi, what did you need?" I asked.

"Erm...well you seemed like a nice boy. I saw you with your friends earlier, when I went for a walk. So I wondered, since I have no friends, can I meet your friends and try and be a part of your group?" She asked shyly.

"Yeah! I would love that!" I exclaimed.

"Thank you!" She said as she threw her arms around me. She backed away looking a bit embarrassed and so did I. Luna walked back into her house and closed the door. I walked back home and skype called my friends.

[Webcam Call]

"Well she just wants to be our friend." I said to the webcam

"Yeah I think that’s fine, I’m guessing she is nice?" Charley questioned over the webcam

"Yeah she is nice, well every time I have spoken to her she was nice!"

"Okay, I like the sound of her." Jasmine said with a smile

"Yeah. Bye Charley, Jasmine and Scott!"

"Haha, bye!" They said in unison.

[Call Ends]

It was 9:00pm by this time. So I thought I would edit some YouTube videos for Scott - because he is on YouTube and has asked me to edit his videos at the moment because I’m good and he doesn't have much time. So I spent 3 hours! Editing his videos, but I didn't mind, I liked being creative. After this I got ready for bed and I went out and sat on the window ledge. Luna wasn't there for some strange reason, but I didn't think too much of it.
