Part 1: Step into a new World

(Betty POV)

A new Life. A new house. A new city. Riverdale is now the town I call my home. My Mum used to live her before she knew my Dad. After they got together they moved to Las Vegas and then they got me and my sister Polly. But my parents were fighting a lot so they decided to get divorced. I never had a good relationship to my Dad but I felt sorry for him. My sister Polly stayed with Daddy in Las Vegas because she got pregnant and didn't want to move with them to such a small town like Riverdale. And then my Mum began to talk about her old life. The people she knew here and Pop's Chocklitshop. She always told me story about the people and I thought they sound friendly. So I moved here with my Mum. Now I am standing in front of our new house or better Mums old house. My grandparents used to live here before they died and now the house is ours. I only know one Person from Riverdale and that's my cousin Cheryl. She can be such a bitch honestly but I love her so much.

But Let's get back to now. I was standing in front of our new house. Mum and I were packing our stuff into the house the last 4 hours and I got really annoyed so I went out. As I was standing there my phone vibrated.
I opened the messages and saw that Cheryl texted me.

Cheryl: hello cha-cha. I heard your here now? Wanna go meet at Pop's?
Betty: hey cousin. Ofc. Gonna be there in 10.
Cheryl: kk. C ya.

We never had much contact but she visited me a few times when I was living in Las Vegas. I missed her a lot because she was such an amazing person and as soon as I knew that I was gonna move Here she got really excited.
I went into the house and asked Mum how to go to Pop's. She Rolled with her eyes and said she would drive me there bc she wanted to taste a milkshake by Pop again. I said okay so she drove me.

The lightning signs of Pop's couldn't be unseen. I was very Happy to see my cousin soon. So I walked inside the shop. The First thing I saw were some people in my mothers age. As she saw them she screamed and ran to them. "FP. I'm so glad to see you. It has been Years since we met each other!" They huged and I stand a little bit awkward next to them. Mum has never said anything about FP. Who is this?
So I was standing right in the middle of the way and someone tipped on my shoulder. "Excuse me Miss Blondie but could you please move a little bit. I want to go to my friends." As I turned Around I saw a boy. He was a little bit taller than me and looked at me with a small smile. I stared at his wonderful eyes and he laughed quietly. "Sorry? Do you understand me?" He said and looked a little bit confused.
"Uhm yes. I'm sorry. I'm lost. I'm new. Just moved here."
"Oh You're the new girl? Welcome to Shitdale. Oh I mean Riverdale of course."
"Is it that bad here?" I asked and looked right into his eyes. My heart was near to an explosion because he was so damn pretty.
"No it's okay actually when you know the right people. Oh and my name is Sweet Pea." He said and smiled again.
"My name is Betty Cooper."
I didn't know him. How should I have known on that point that he would change my life?
