~~~ Leaving port
The two weeks leave was over and done. They'd taken several weeks to ensure the ship was working before leaving again. When they did Nacy was again at the controls as the ships pilot, "Jg. Masterson, close all supply fittings and make all movements needed to leave dock. Shape the route to the other side of the asteroid belt." She looked around the bridge and smiled, "Report all stations."
The reports weren't long in coming and the XO turned, "All stations report condition green and condition 3. We are ready to follow your orders ma'am."
Nacy slipped the throttle back and the ship slipped out of the space dock. She kept a close eye on what the ship was doing and eventually adjusted them for a side turn and moved forward, "Disengaged with the dock ma'am and what orbit would you like to make?" Even though the Captain had indicated shaping a path to the other side of the meteor belt Nacy verified it. Everyone knew they were going to the Kyper belt but she still had to ask.
"Take us out of orbit at half power and then FTL once we are a million miles from the docks. Weapons be ready in case we happen across something in FTL. Engage Jg. Masterson." She was so excited to test the ship out it wasn't funny. If this worked they'd be there very soon and then more FTL jumps around the system. They were going to make visits to all the planets to ensure it's working correctly.
"Yes Captain." Nacy moved the ship forward and once they were clear of the station and traffic she pushed the throttle forward slowly. The ship accelerated away from the station. Once they were far enough away she smiled, "Going to FTL Captain." The ship was maneuverable in FTL so she ensured she did an arc over the belt and then back to the ecliptic. It was a delicate operation but she was more than capable of it. She hit a different set of throttles and the ship flashed out of normal space and everyone felt it in their core as they jumped to FTL.
Holcum wanted to barf but it only lasted a short time since once in FTL he felt fine, "By the Ancestors that really sucked. I felt my stomach being sucked out of me." He shuddered and ended up slugging down some water.
"Go fuck me!" Cmdr. Wilson wrapped her arms around her stomach and retched before she controlled her reaction. She was going to need to consider talking to the doc's about some meds before they did this again. Half the Marines were barfing on the floor. She didn't blame them but she was going to yell and force them to clean the mess up.
Most of the crew were feeling much the same. Those who did lose it had barf bags just in case based on earlier tests. It was the translation from normal space to FTL which caused the reaction. For the Marines they tried to tough it out but didn't succeed. Once in FTL it wasn't a problem so many didn't eat before the translation. It almost seemed like only minutes before they translated back out.
Now they were at the edges of the solar system and everyone was shocked as they were looking at the dwarf planet Pluto. Nacy was forced to blow chunks into one of the bags, "I think my cat even barfed in my brain. Not cool." She heaved again and hoped it didn't get around the ship she was having issues like this.
"God, tell me about it." The navigator was looking rather green also. The feeling he was having was bad. He leaned his head back and took a number of slow breaths, "That really..." He finally lost it and tossed up what little he had in his stomach. Thankfully the bridge had good AC and the smell of vomit didn't remain long. Everyone tossed the used bags into a trash removal unit for destruction.
~~~ We made it

Once everyone settled down they were looking at the monitors and found Pluto front and center, "It's lovely. Want more." Danal spoke and several others sighed, "She's lovely and want to see other planets."
