Chapter Two: Trouble Makers

Skye and Snowy looked out of the nursery at the dens that were in front of them. Shining Pebbles watched them carefully to make sure that they do not get into trouble, but while she was doing so she fell asleep.

"Come on! Snowy now! Let's go!" Skye shouted excitedly at her sister as she dashed out of the den. Skye looked around the clearing it was huge, and then she heard her sister push her way out of the den the branches that were protecting it made a lot of racket.

"Hey, Little and Fiery come look Snowy and Skye have finally come out of the nursery to play," Tiny one of Pine Cone's pups happily told her sisters who had come over to stand by her. Snowy and Skye looked at the older pups they had been born two sunrises before they had and yet they were way bigger than Snowy and Skye had expected them to be.

"Hi, little ones welcome to the world. Did you guys know that we are your nieces and nephews?" Tiny asked Snowy and Skye who looked terrified of the older pups.

"No I... We ... did not... know... that," Skye anxiously told Tiny who walked over to her and Snowy and gave her a lick across the ears.

"Skye, Snowy there is no reason to fear me and my siblings. We are your nieces and nephews because our mom is one of your mom first pups which makes you sisters. Which makes you our aunts which is kind of unbelievable because of how young you guys are," Tiny told them as she saw Shining Pebbles slip out of the nursery and give them a slight nod.

"Skye, Snowy you better not go causing trouble. Now why don't you show them around the camp Tiny, Fiery, and Little," Shining Pebble told her pups sternly and then gently suggested to Pine Cone's pups.Tiny, Fiery, and Little nodded and started the tour of the camp. Skye and Snowy were impressed at how much bigger the world was than they had thought it to be. As they were taken around the camp Skye and Snowy tried to learn all that they could about the dens. Suddenly an idea started to form in Skye's little head and she thought, Okay I know where all of the dens are and so does Snowy so maybe just maybe we could cause some trouble.

"Psst! Snowy come here! Okay, so here is my plan we are going to cause so trouble. I will sneak around the rankings den, while you will sneak around and hideout behind the apprentice den and then when I give my signal. We will dash into both of the dens and stomp around and ruin all of the nests," Skye told Snowy who gave her a worried look, but eventually decided that it would be fine.
