The Plot Twist

Chapter 1

Elara walked through the thicket of trees whilst writing in her leather bound diary. She was completely done with school; her best girl friend had stabbed her in the back and gone off with the popular girls. She finally reached her haven, which she called The Libratalia. Her other best friend Nathan had helped her come up with the name as he played a lot of video games, most of them were about lost cities and going on adventures.

When she reached her small wooden cabin at the back of the haven she saw that the door was slightly ajar. She inched closer, pushed the door open and leapt backwards. What she saw made her feel slightly annoyed at herself and her bestie, Nathan. "What are you doing here?" Elara asked, hugging him, happy to be close to her best friend. " Melissa told me what happened in school today" He replied. Elara explained the short yet infuriating story to him, getting angrier and angrier as she continued. Nathan listened intently not interrupting her short rant. By the time they had finished talking about the twisted matter, it was getting dark and both Elara and Nathan felt emotionally drained. She decided to text Jay as her and Nathan decided to have a sleep over.

E: Hey Jay.

J: Heyo you alright?

E: I'm OK. Something happened in school tho.

J: Yh I know Cara told me. You with Nathan?

E: Yup! We are having a sleep over at the cabin, wanna come?

J: Who do think I am? Of course I want to come! Be there in five. Xx

E: See you then! Xx

The conversation ended there and both Nathan and Elara changed in to some comfy PJ's. Jay arrived and after many movies,snack breaks and laughter galore, they fell asleep cuddled up in blankets and pillows. A strong sense of happy, pulling them into a warm bed of slumber. 

little did they know that sweet sleep was not going to last till the late hours of high time (afternoon).
