The Plot Twist

Chapter 5

Elara's POV:

I walked back to the hotel with a smile on my face. I couldn't believe I was starting to like him. He could be lying. He could be bad, not good. Ugh. I pushed the thoughts back and focused on what we spoke about during our... meeting.

*A few minutes later*

I pushed the button of the lift; preparing myself for the onslaught of questions and teasing I was about to receive. I slowly pushed the door open, hoping, praying, that Jay & Nathan had fallen asleep waiting for me. But alas it was not meant to be. They were like sharks circling pray when I entered the room.

Jay: How was your daaate?

Elara: It was not a DATE.

Nathan: Ok lets sit down. Tell us what happened.

Elara: Well we spoke about the Fire Crows and Todeszirkus and he pretty much told me everything he knew. Or at least I think he did.

I then proceeded to tell them everything I had learnt.

Nathan: So do you like him like even a little bit?

Elara: Maybe a smidge. But I need to know if I can trust him first.

Jay: Yaay! You can finally have a boyfriend!

Elara: Shut up Jay.

I rolled my eyes whilst laughing.

It was now 1AM and I was tired out of my mind. I changed and fell into a deep slumber. But I had a dream.... about a man. His eyes were dark, almost black and he had prominent burns down his left side, almost like a tattoo. He said he had an important message for me, something that would change my life forever. Something I couldn't tell anyone, not even Jay & Nathan. But before I could hear this oh so wonderful message; I was shaken awake by a trainer. I looked over to Jaythan (Jay and Nathan). To see them rolling out of bed and trudging bleakly to the bathroom. There were only two bathrooms so I got a couple extra minutes in bed. Score for me!

Went through another training session which was surprisingly easier than the first. It felt so awkward and tense. Like the trainers knew something we didn't and were treating us like glass.

Myself, Jaythan and Ricky arranged to meet for a second time in a few days. But I was worried. This man had appeared in my dream and I felt like I honestly couldn't tell anyone what he had said. Maybe he got to me through the chip. It still hasn't been removed and I was starting to think they weren't going to. I had so many questions and absolutely no answers.
