Masquerada is the evolved form of Masquine. They seem to be closely related to mosquitoes, although the size difference is a bit ridiculous, with Masquerada easily able to reach sizes larger than a human. They tend to be awake at night, searching for large prey to leech bodily fluids from. Oddly, males are almost never seen in the wild, suggesting that they hide rather than actively hunting. Either that or they are far more stealthy than the females. They are differentiated from the females by having a grey coloration where the females have red as well as a lack of wings.
