Nationals

I was nervous. Like really nervous.  Barry held my hand as we waited for the announcer to call out our names.  Finally the announcer said, "NEXT UP THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED CROSSOVER OF THE NEW DIRECTIONS AND THE WARBLERS!"

We ran onto the stage and music started playing.

Sebastian started singing.

He spun me around and we sang together.

The New Directions and the Warblers danced in sync, just like we rehearsed.

Sebastian winked at me and put on a sultry expression.

I danced along to the lyrics and put a sultry expression to mimic his.

Nate (a warbler) spun me around and pulled me to one end of the stage while Sebastian ran to the other end. He walked over to me and danced with me.  This was the best crossover ever.

Whew! I looked at Sebastian and smiled at him. We were both trying to catch our breath and another song came on.  The warblers started doing their thing (lol) and I got ready to sing.

I danced with Sebastian and he smiled at me. Jake walked up to me and tried to dance with me. I pushed his chest away and sang.

I looked at Jake and sang these words to him.  He tried to get in the way of me and Sebastian and I wouldn't let that happen.  I moved towards Sebastian and held his hand as he spun me around.

I smiled at Sebastian and kissed him as we were met with thunderous applause. (lets just pretend that its legal in show choirs to kiss at nationals)

"Great job Marls."

We ran off of the stage and high fived everyone.

*fast forward to the end of nationals* 

"AND THE WINNER IS... THE NEW DIRECTIONS AND THE WARBLERS!"

We ran onto the stage and hugged everyone.  Sebastian and I held up the trophy as everyone applauded.

Everyone got with their significant other (Kartie, Klaine, Brittana, and the rest are single pringles) and drove back to the hotel. This was going to be a great night.
