Hi, I'm Alie. I'm seventeen and I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I live with my Mom and younger sister Ashley. I'm not super close with my dad, so the one man I have in my life means a lot to me. Isaiah. We've been together off and on for 2 years. I never thought I'd fall so hard for anyone. When my parents got divorced I told myself I wasn't going to open up to anyone, but then I met Isaiah. Even though I'm only seventeen, I face the same problems as an adult. I work every day, as well as going to school, plus I am a cheerleader. But now I have another problem, I'm pregnant.

When I told my mom I was pregnant, she cried. She's still not used to it, but she is letting Isaiah move in so he can help with the baby, and she's letting me turn the guest room into the baby's room. I don't know what I'm having yet, but I do know that Isaiah is praying for a little boy.
Since I'm pregnant, I have to stop cheering, which sucks. I picked up more shifts so I could afford to take care of my new family. Isaiah has a job too, but he spends most of his money on shoes and his car. I can't stand it, but it's his choice. We start school in three days, so he's trying to get the most of these last days. He hasn't text me for a few days, but he's moving in when school starts, so maybe all this time away from each other is a good thing.

School starts tomorrow, so my best friend, Cheyenne, and I are going shopping. She's one of the few people who have seen my belly. I used to be a size zero, now I'm a size seven. It doesn't seem like much, but the baby is still growing. Tomorrow after school I have an appointment to find out the sex. Isaiah said he would be there, but I haven't been able to depend on his word recently.  School shopping stresses me out. Most of my peers already talk bad about me, but now that I have a baby on the way, it's going to be much worse. All I needed was pens and notebooks, but Cheyenne hadn't even began shopping.

"Do you know what classes you have?" she asked, looking at backpacks.

"I have English 3, government, algebra 2, and french 2. But I'm gonna be leaving early after those classes so I can work."

"Are you excited for school or are you just ready to leave?"

"I'm ready to graduate so I can go to cosmotology school. I don't want to be like my mom and not go to college."

"I believe in you Alie. You work so hard that you'll be able to take care of the baby and yourself."

"I just wish I knew if Isaiah was gonna be here for me or not. He hasn't talked to me for awhile."

We checked out and headed to my car. I don't normally drive, but since Isaiah hasn't been taking me where i need to go, I've had to.

"What does he think about having a baby?" she asked as we stood in line to checkout.

"He really wants an Isaiah Junior, but I will not be naming him Isaiah Jarrell."

"What's he gonna do if you have a girl?"

"Leave." I laughed, I was kinda joking but kinda not. He is set on having a boy.

"You having told me any of your name ideas," she said grabbing her bags of supplies.

"For a boy I like D'Marion (De-Mar-E-Yon) Isaiah, for a girl I like Arianna Delaney. So at least he gets the middle name for a boy." I told her. I haven't decided if they will get my last name or his. I guess it just depends on how he acts up until I sign the birth certificate.

I woke up to my alarm going off at 6:20. I grabbed my iPhone and turned it off, then I checked all of my apps. Snapchat, facebook, and instagram. I had a few texts, Cheyenne, my mom, and my dad.

"Have a good day at school today." That's all it said. Nothing else. I haven't talked to my dad since he divorced my mom. I have no interest in it either, he hasn't asked about my pregnancy or if I was going to the same school. After reading his text, I was more upset about school starting than I had been before.

I took off my pajamas and got into the shower. I shower in the morning and at night, it makes me feel so much better in the morning, and it helps me fall asleep at night. I washed my body with the Bath & Body Works body wash, then washed my face with my proactive exfoliator. I climbed out of the shower and dried off. I put on my bra and underwear, then my blue vineyard vine t-shirt, then my nike shorts. I straighten my bright blonde hair and wore eyeliner and mascara. I'm not much for makeup, since I break out really easy.

Today is my first day of senior year, so before school, all the seniors are doing a senior parade to the school. I threw on my Nike Slides and headed out. Cheyenne was standing with our friend Vanessa when I pulled in. I got out of my grey Honda Accord and hugged them.

"Where is Isaiah?" Vanessa asked as we pulled away from our hug.

"He's been MIA for a week now. I think he'll be here though." I said, looking to see if I saw his car.

"Do you know what y'all are having yet?" She asked, touching my small belly.

"We find out after school today," I said. After talking with them for a few minutes, I saw Isaiah pull into the lot. We waited until 7:45 to leave the parking lot and head to the school, and he was there at 7:40.

"Hey Alie," he said walking over and hugging me.

"Hi." I answered bluntly. I was pissed. He could do anything he wanted without talking to me, but if it were me it would be different story.

"Can I talk to you?" he said, he grabbed my hand and we walked over to his car. "I'm sorry."

"For?"

"Not being around this week. I was really busy with work and then mom needed help."

"Okay. Do you still plan on moving into my house?" I asked, picking at my finger nails.

"I wanna live with you, but I don't wanna live with your mom," he said. I looked at him with hurt in my eyes.

"Are your child and I not enough reason for you to move in, even though my mother is the one problem?"

"I'll think about it."

"Are you going to my appointment to see what we're having?" I asked, hoping he would.

"I think I have to work."

"You never work on Wednesdays."

"I picked up shifts." He said. I rolled my eyes and walked over to Cheyenne. I didn't want to see Isaiah for the rest of the day.

After the parade we went into the school and headed to our classes. I used to have a bunch of friends in all of my classes, but when I found out I was pregnant, no one wanted to hang out or make plans...
