After school was finally over, I met up with Cheyenne and we got into my car. We were headed to my doctor appointment. I knew my mom was going to be there, but Isaiah never told me if he would be or not.

"How were your classes?" Cheyenne asked as we pulled out of the busy school parking lot.

"My feet hurt and I'm ready to go to bed." I told her. She laughed and put on the radio. We were listening to God's Plan by Drake when she freaked out. "What?!?!"

"Keep driving, I'll show you when we get there." I sped up because I'm that kind of person. I needed to know what was going on. It wasn't a far drive and we were on the highway. We got off at exit 32 and I pulled into the parking lot. She showed me a picture of Isaiah sleeping on a girl's lap. It was Cheyenne's streak, Paige.

"What the fuck!" She screenshotted the snap chat and sent it to me. I got out of the car and went into the office. "Hello, I have an appointment with Dr Leota."

"Okay, are you Alie?" She asked typing on her computer.

"Yes ma'am."

"Okay, you can go ahead and have a seat and they will call you back when they're ready for you," she said with a smile. I sat down next to Cheyenne and typed a long paragraph to Isaiah. Basically I told him he was never going to see his child and he was going to pay child support and that I didn't want him in my house ever again and that he was a hoe.

"Alie?" The young nurse said. We followed her down the hall and she put me in a room. "The doctor will be here shortly." My mom walked in not too soon after, then I told her what happened.

"Hello Ms. Alie," Dr Leota said as she walked in. "Are you ready to see what you're having?"

"Yes ma'am," I replied. She put the cold jelly on my stomach and moved her wand around.

"There is a leg, and a foot, and.... It's a boy!" She said. "Do you have any names picked out?"

"I have a few in mind," I wasn't naming my child after that trash, so I had to think of a new middle name...

I dropped Cheyenne off at her car and drove home. I wanted to go home and cry, but I knew I had shit to do. I knew something was going on with Isaiah, but I'm so naïve. I sat on my bed and got out the paper work I had to finish, then I went through and wrote down my name choices...

D'Marion, Justin, Jalen, Caleb... None stood out to me the way D'Marion did, and I couldn't find a better middle name than Isaiah. So I decided to stick with it. I had turned my phone off after sending the text to Isaiah. When I opened it, I had five missed calls and seven texts from him, as well as snap chats from my friends, telling me about the picture.

I looked through the messages, they were all him saying he was sorry and asking for another chance, but I was done. He ignored me for a week and I'm almost one hundred percent sure it's because he was with his Paige. I never liked her. She's never been a good person to anyone. She tried to go out with Cheyenne's boyfriend, but he's way more loyal than Isaiah apparently.

I texted Isaiah back.

"I want all the shit I left at your house back. I'm not going to put myself and our son through hell just because you want a second chance. You're not going to see him and he's not getting your last name. Don't ask to come to the shower and do not try to talk to me. I'm done."

After I sent the text, I laid in my bed and eventually fell asleep...

I woke up to my mom knocking on my door.

"Yeah?" I asked, sitting up in bed.

"Are you okay?" She asked sitting next to me.

"I just don't understand why someone would cheat on their pregnant girlfriend," I said, rubbing my eyes. I didn't know what to do. I felt useless.

"Do you wanna go buy some stuff for the baby's room?"

"Yes please," I said. Ashley, my mom and I got into the car and headed over to BABYS-R-US. I had a $100 gift card from Isaiah's mom, so I decided I could buy some clothes with it. I had also been saving up all of my paychecks so I could buy his crib and changing table.

After shopping and getting all of the furniture I was going to need, I set up a registry for my baby shower. It mainly had small things, like bottles and breast pumps.

When we got home, we took all of the stuff to he baby's room and started putting it together. the room had already been painted, it was grey and cream colored. I had decided that if I had a boy or girl their room would be grey with another color detail. D'Marion's room will be elephant themed, it's just much cuter than the other options.

My phone was ringing, so without thinking I answered.

"Hello?"

"Alie, please listen."

"No Isaiah. Fuck you. You went and laid up with another girl when I'm pregnant with your kid! I trusted you, I put my everything in for you and all I get is you cheating on me! I have been here for you, I had you stay here when your mom was mad at you, I was gonna name our child after you! I cared about you and you went and turned on me now? Today? You'd rather be laid up with some hoe than seeing what sex your baby is?! Just because I'm the one carrying the baby doesn't mean he's just mine. Fuck you." I hung up and threw my phone out of the room into the hallway.

When I first got pregnant, all I wanted was to have the perfect little family. Abortion and adoption never crossed my mind. But sometimes, like now, I wonder if I made the right choice on keeping the baby.

When all was said and done, I knew I was going to regret saying what I did. Knowing how hard it is to be a single parent scares me. My mom struggles to keep everything we have, which is why I have a job and Ashley is getting a job with our newspaper delivery. We have to buy what we need and want, which is why I had to save so much money. I had to save my money from the time I found out I was pregnant until now.

I want things to work out with Isaiah and I, but at the same time I'd rather forget about him all together.
