That car accident was the scariest thing that had ever happened to me. They saved all three of us and all of the passengers in the other car that hit us. We were by the house when a lady was texting, she ran a red light and flipped our car. We always wear seatbelts so everyone was okay, but I have to stay here until the baby is born. Bridgette said she was going to pay me as if I was working my normal hours, so at least I'm still getting paid. My grandma got to go home, but since Isaac was a baby, they had him stay in my room. I have to call a nurse in for everything, to shower, use the rest room, to get Isaac out of his bed. Luckily my grandma came in everyday after work to see us. She brought me a laptop so I could stay on track in school. The lady that hit us was getting sued for lots of money, and I hope we win.

Being in the hospital is making me stir crazy. I just want to go outside and wear my clothes and sleep in my bed. I've been here for a month, so I still have to wait another two before I can go home. They said it's precaution for the baby and myself. When I'm by myself, I do my schooling. I wake up around nine and then work until three. I do everything on time and never miss a beat. I even do some of my work on weekends. When I'm not doing school work, I'm looking at names. I've narrowed it down, Alyssa Raine, Brianna Kate, and Myah Jocelyn. I've been writing there names down since I got admitted.

Today, when my grandma arrived, she told me about work and all of the things she had to deal with, She asked me about the baby and then told me she missed me at home.

"I'm going to ask that doctor when I can take you home," she told me.

"He said he wanted me here until the baby comes so he can keep and eye on me," I told her. The baby started moving around. I loved when it happened. It felt like I had butterflies.

"Hello, Karlee," my nurse said.

"Hello," she looked at all of the monitors and then my grandma asked if the doctor was still there.

"Yes he is, would you like to see him?"

"Yes, please," she said. She smiled and paged him. I was on the laptop, looking at more baby names when he came in.

"Hello Miss Broncs, how are you?"

"I'm good, the baby is moving around a lot."

"Hello, you must be the famous grandma," he said shaking her hand. "You wanted to see me?"

"Yes, we wanted to know when I could take her home. She can be on bed rest at my house, she is doing fine and won't be running around. I will have Isaac with me and at daycare, she will be at home with the cat. That's all."

"If she is doing well on Saturday she can go home," he said looking through my chart. "She has been doing well since she's been here and so has the baby. If she keeps it up she can leave."

Thank god. I am so ready to be at home with my kitten, Lola. Grandma got her for me when we moved into the new house. She's the cutest thing ever and I am ready to be in my bed so I can watch Grey's Anatomy while I do my homework, since they don't have Netflix here. When Grandma left, I was looking through my baby names and found my favorite. It was around ten when I fell asleep...

I woke up to nurses touching my belly and asking me questions. Then I felt a horrible pain in my neck.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"You're going into shock, lay back and remain calm, we need to check on the baby." I laid down and they were doing an ultrasound. "She is okay. We need someone in here twenty four hours."

"What happened?" I asked the lady sitting with me.

"You were seizing, then your body went into shock from the pain of the baby pushing against your back," she said. "They saved your life."

"Has anyone called my grandma? What time is it?"

"Your grandma is at work, you have been asleep the past few days with an anesthetic. Nothing happened to the baby, she's growing much more." I looked at my laptop and saw all of the work I needed to do. I started right away. I'm not taking hard classes, but when you miss five days in a row of school, you fall very hard behind.

I did my work by class, in alphabetical order. Algebra two, Biology, English two, French two, Geometry, and US History. It wasn't hard, it was just a lot of work. I had a hundred assignments, at least, to do. My grandma came in as I finished the last Algebra work sheet.

"You're up, good," she said hugging me.

"I know what I'm going to name her," I said with a big smile on my face.

"And what is it?"

"Myah Jocelyn," I said, smiling. She told me she loved it, then she told me about her day and how the lady she had an argument with came back and continued arguing with her. Then she was asking me about the name Myah.

"I just think it is beautiful and it means Mine. Jocelyn was mom's middle name, obviously. I also think mom would've liked it." Right now it's hard not to think about my mom. She was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen. She had hair like mine, long and caramel colored. But her eyes were her own. When I had seen pictures I thought they were edited. They had a green in towards the iris and then they turned into ice as they went out to the white. Her skin is fair and had no marks. Her first name was Korah, but I didn't want to name her after my mother like that, besides Myah Korah doesn't sound that good.

Now, I have to stay in the hospital until she is born because they don't want to rock the boat. It's still horrible, I've been losing a lot of weight so someone watches me eat three times a day. Myah is still growing fast and strong, so I'm doing something right. I never liked to eat, I ate once or twice when I was in school or living with my dad. My grandma makes dinner at home and I would eat breakfast before I went to work, but that was about it. Here I didn't have the specific times that I was used to.

"Karlee, you need to eat. It's for the baby," the nurse said.

"I'm not hungry, I don't want it."

"It will sit there until you eat it." I wasn't hungry, but I just put up with it. I just want to be home...
