The fallen god

Part 3

All of team JNRR were feeling nervous as they followed y/n somewhat unsure of if he was going in the right direction as they followed him, too afraid to question if he knew were he was going, of course he DID but they couldn't tell how but they were bored mostly due to y/n killing everything in sight that came close to the path they were following "are you sure this is a good idea ruby?" Jaune whispered to ruby, the girl thought for a second "what do you mean?" She said trying to play dumb as she had no definite answer "you know exactly what I mean ruby, how can you be sure that we can trust him!?"
"I don't know I just thou-" ruby was interrupted by y/n talking "if you wish to leave, do it now, I will not care if you die out in those woods alone" the group noticed it was practically nighttime making it difficult to see into the woods surrounding them, only being able to see dark shapes and glowing red eyes that seemed to be following them as they traveled, the Golden Fleece on y/n's arm reflecting the light of the moon off of it ever so slightly, ren spoke afterwards to break the silence once again "I think it's best we set up camp somewhere near by" everyone seemed to nod in agreement as they found a place on the trail and began to set a fire hoping to get enough sleep for the night, as nearly all of them were tired ruby soon laid down onto the ground near the fire hoping to stay warm as all the others were ready too sleep as well...except for the ghost of Sparta, who was staring out into the woods following the tree line as if something was moving through it "aren't you tired?" Ruby asked, "no" y/n didn't look in her direction at all as he spoke, again she became too afraid to talk as he sat there nearly motionless she closed her eyes as she slowly began to fall asleep until "waking" up in a dream, a dream where she was running towards something until an arm grabbed her, it was y/n "No child!" He shouted, her dream self spoke "its what I am meant to do, you know this!" She heard a female voice "don't let her go y/n, for once your pathetic life don't fail, don't fail her like you failed your family" hearing this confused ruby as she watched y/n turn his head towards the mysterious voice and beginning to yell in anger, letting go of her as she was sucked into a vortex fading out of sleep as she grew closer to the origin of the vortex. ruby...Ruby...RUBY!, the girl head someone say turning to find jaune looking at her, "how long was I asleep?" She said tiredly "it's only the morning" jaune said "however" he looked to were our "hero" was sitting the night before "that guy is gone"
"Y/n" ruby said, jaune looked at her "huh?" "His name is y/n" truthfully no one knew the Spartans name beforehand and this confused him "did he tell you that?" Jaune asked, "no, I just..have a gut feeling"
"Right now that doesn't matter, ren and nora have gone out to look for a way through the mountains nearby to see if there's a short cut, to mistral, we're gonna look somewhere else to look for supplies if possible" ruby nodded at this and stood up grabbing her weapon, following jaune as they walked down the trail they had been following before an uneasy silence as they walked until reaching a cross roads "so I'm guessing they went to the right" jaune pointed out looking towards the mountains "so we should go left" ruby said "but were to exactly" jaune thought out loud,
Ruby looked at the signs pointing to different directions "how abooout, kuroyuri" she pointed to a older looking sign then the rest, jaune shrugged and began walking that direction ruby following him in that direction unaware of what was going to transpire there very soon. Returning to y/n he had vanished from the group, leaving them as they had been nothing but dead weight as he trekked through the forest, no signs of life whatsoever except a crow like bird following him, knowing exactly what or "who" it was but ignored it "they could have been of great use to our cause" Athena said as she floated beside the spartan "and how could they exactly have been useful to us in anyway" y/n said "it seemed they had been going on the path we were following to get to mistral"  "and?" Y/n said "I could see it in their minds, they had a much similar goal too us then you realize" Athena paused "however, the one named ruby, intrigues me, Salem always spoke of silver eyes" y/n froze at this knowing how similar she was to someone he knew but kept walking "y/n when will you realize that you can not always do things by yourself" Athena spoke in an emotionless yet slightly concerned voice keyword slightly "like I have said before what good could they have been too us" Athena sighed and started to fade off "your arrogance will be the death of you" y/n huffed at this and kept walking for what seemed like hours until hearing an ear piercing screech echo throughout the dead looking forest noticing the direction it originated from, near the camp from last night he simply turned around and kept walking until hearing a screech again Athena's words echoing in his mind "they could have been of great use to our cause", "when will you realize that you cannot always do things by yourself", "the one named ruby, intrigues me" all these thoughts annoyed y/n as they repeated in his head constantly until he turned towards the screeches direction, his winged boots glowing a gold color as he shifted his body to a lunge position then sprinting off at breakneck speed almost leaving a trail of fire as he went, running through the trees...literally, just a pale blur moving through the forest until reaching the path looking to his left hearing the sound of gun shots coming from that direction running towards what seemed to be another much larger abandoned village as he got closer, readying himself to run through the surrounding wall noticing a large Grimm creature being attacked by something as He readied himself, his fleece covered arm out in front of him as he crashed through the wall catching everyone's attention as the dust started to settle revealing who he was, mainly suprising ruby who had been shooting at the Grimm as she looked over too him "y-y/n!?".

...it took me five days to create this chapter...how.
