Third P.O.V
After Isabella and Vernon arrive at school and get settled in, Claire Standish's father drove her up to the front of the school. "I can't believe you can't get me out of this... I mean, it's so absurd that I have to be here on a Saturday! It's not like I'm a defective or anything..." Claire whined to her father. Mr. Standish said, "I'll make it up to you... Honey, ditching class to go shopping doesn't make you a defective. Have a good day." Claire rolls her eyes as she gets out of the car and goes up the front steps of the school.

Next up drives Brian Johnson's car, with his mother in the drivers seat. "Is this the first time or last time that we do this?" Mrs. Johnson demands. "The last time..." Brian muttered, upset. "Well, get in there and use the time to your advantage."
"Mom, we're not supposed to study; we just have to sit there and do nothing." Brian protested. "Well, mister, you just figure out a way to study." "Yeah!" Exclaimed his little sister from the backseat. "Well, go!" At this, Brian scurried our of the car and  walked toward the school.

The next car to drive up to the school was Andrew and his father. Mr. Clark starts talking to about his high school life. "Hey, I screwed around... guys screw around; there's nothing wrong with that. Except you got caught, Sport." Andrew rolled his eyes and muttered, "Yeah, Mom already reemed me, alright?" Mr. Clark started scowling. "You wanna miss a match? You wanna blow your ride? Now, no school's gonna give a scholarship to a discipline case." Andrew gets out of the car, slams the door and walks into the school.

Across the street, John Bender walks toward the school. A car comes at him as he is walking through the car park but he doesn't stop walking. The car slams on its brakes directly in front of him. As John walks up the stairs, Allison Reynolds steps out of the car dressed all in black. She steps forward to look in the passenger window but the car drives away before she can say anything.
